Bleh. Hahahah Have you seen the new FF Film? That destroys your argument entirely.
No I haven't and it doesn't.

But I'm pretty sure it's absolutely terrible, that's why I didn't exclude it in my assessment. Even if I end up not hating it which I doubt it, everyone else does so it can definitely be considered a royal flop. And there is no excuse in failing miserably for the third time with the general consensus. They just don't know what to do with the franchise, it's obvious. And that's coming from someone who wasn't particularly negative on the reboot since day one.
I'm just saying that ever since Rothman left they're in a very good place with the X-Men movies and seem to have learned from past mistakes while at the same time adapt into the new age of comic book movies. You can see that not just in the better quality of their movies but in how they become more comic accurate, compared to previous ones at least. They listen to what fans want a lot more so than they did in the past. I'm sure that the latest FF movie and hopefully the last attempt by Fox was just a stumble that doesn't represent the state the studio is currently. But we shall see.
Also I completely agree with what other users have said above about Fox and possibly even Sony's track record compared to the MCU. The MCU is more consistent in quality and their worst is better than the other two studios' but at the same time their best isn't. I can think of at least 2 or 3 Fox movies and a Sony one that are better than anything the MCU has released so far cinematically. Except for Netflix's DD maybe. That doesn't erase all the bad ones of course, it's not black and white. I don't understand why some people see it that way.
