I'm pretty sure they will/are working on a campaign. I wouldn't be too bummed about it because it'll eventually be added. They want this to be the end all, be all of F13th games so they have stated they want to add as many features as they can.

It's really only a matter of how successful the game is. That pretty determines if and when we'll get those features.

I doubt we'll ever see a campaign in the sense that we as gamers think about. The most we'll prob get are little "scenarios" like what was mentioned above.

Oh, in case those were wondering or didn't know, the devs confirmed today that the Xbox One version will join the PS4 in NOT having the option to pre-order/pre-install. Originally just the PS4 version wasn't going to have that option. The good news, the game is only 3.5 gigs so if you are planning on playing on console, on release night, it shouldn't take too long to download.

Except Dead by Daylight sucks ass which is a damn shame because that game was in a lose lose situation. They released it unfinished to beat F13th to market and the quality of the game suffered, but had they put the time in needed to finish the game properly, they would have been slaughtered by the F13th launch.

I just hope that for the launch everyone's able to download without the system crashing. Unlikely but...one can hope.

Jenny is definitely final girl material. Not only do the stats support it, but just look at her...virtually an exact likeness to Chris/Dana Kimmel. I'm surprised they don't have to pay her.

For me, I think A.J. is gonna be my go to counselor, followed by Jenny & Deborah. For some reason, I feel like I'll have a better chance of surviving using any of them.

With a 10/10 for strength (and the fact that he dropped Jason with a bat in the last trailer) I'd say he's a solid choice.

I might avoid Chad for the most part, though...his composure level is terrible, he's pretty weak overall and isn't even good at repairs. I'm almost certain he's only gonna be good for getting diced. haha

Definitely. These guys really have been working their asses off. I missed out on the beta, but from all of the different streams I was able to watch, comparing them to the recent footage released there is a huge difference in quality.

That said, it makes me all the more excited for anymore maps they plan to introduce (i.e Grendel). I'm also curious to see how Uber Jason will end up playing in the game. That's going to be really interesting to see down the road.

Depending on its success post-release, that could very well happen. If they're exploring implementing Grendel & Lazarus as maps, I can't imagine they aren't thinking the exact same with FVJ.

Grendel is the spaceship from JX & Lazarus is the boat from Jason Takes Manhattan.

The developers have stated on the official game forums and elsewhere that whether they'll be able to include content from FVJ, at this point, depends on the success of the game. There are complications via rights issues, but I'm assuming they'll be able to overcome said issues if they reach a certain benchmark.

They didn't say if the same applies to the reboot, but I'd guess it does. They've gone on record many times in stating they want this to be the best F13th experience it can be so they plan on adding as much as they can with their DLC.

That's probably why there's currently no part four Jason or Roy Burns (imposter). They're waiting to see how well it does before they unload that stuff into DLC down the line.
