A nice little read for anyone interested. For those wondering, the developers state in it that the reason they haven't announced a release date yet is because they themselves don't know when it is.

I'll take that over a rushed piece of work any day.

I've been waiting for years for this type of game and specifically a game where you play as Jason himself. I have no problem waiting a few months more for them to make it better.

It really is. They've added pretty much everything a F13th fan could think of wanting them to implement. The way I see it the game was made by fans for the fans. And what's culminating is pretty damn sweet.

I still can't wait to see that new Tom Savini Jason skin. I'm extremely curious as to what it'll look like.

Was just looking over the latest trailer again and when you compare it to the footage that was first being released, this game really has come a long way. Now we're only a month away from release. Can't wait!

Btw, completely random but am I the only one that feels like the part 8 Jason skin looks better in the game than in the actual movie?

I was more worried maybe the game would be scrapped... but potential mental crisis averted.

I haven't been this hyped for game, honestly, I don't remember.

There's no way they'd have ever scrapped this after coming along so far with it & receiving so much support in the process. If they absolutely had to, maybe they'd go through delays if necessary but they wouldn't junk it. But I understand what you mean, this the most I've been excited for a game since God of War III.

A small part of me was hoping they'd give the special Savini Jason skin the ability to run as well, but given that he's capable of likely causing the most destruction of the bunch, they probably didn't want him to be too OP.

Btw, even though we're unlikely to ever get those parts 10, 11 and 12 skins, I gotta wonder if after the launch they'll release skins for part 4 & 5. I could see that happening.

Or potentially getting the option to run around as Pamela.

I expect Pamela to be a part of the single player stuff that is launching later this year. All of the missing skins will likely be DLC. The only Jason I wouldn't mind leaving out is Jason X. **** that movie.

I really want the part 4 skin in the game, it's probably my favorite Jason look with the axe mark in the hockey mask.
