As good as the main theme is, it's still not John Williams. That's no knock to Ottman. I like the guy alot but John Williams is John Williams. When he does it once, there's no need to see it done again....but, I do like what Ottman has done with it.

only problem i see is that in the preview score they played all the good parts and there only like 30 sec long and when i listened to the full version i got a little disappointed that there werent many songs as well as some of the good songs were short

Williams' theme was higher pitched than Ottman's.
I prefer Ottman's theme, because it sounds more regal to me.

^^ when you listen to the whole thing, it's obvious that with the picture it's going to have a moving impact.

However, it sorta sounds like they borrowed from the Spider-man theme, and at other times it reminds me of the original Batman theme, both by Elfman.

yeah, the score's been on BT for 2 days now.

I give the score a B-. It's all about wading through all the mundane themes to get back to the williams bits, all except the new theme that ottoman has come up with. The rest of the new stuff (other than thebits we heard in the 30 second previews) was pretty meh.

The original is still far superior, but this is new, and new is nice sometimes.
