FX's The Bridge

I have a question though; the ep opened with the lawyer of the widowed cougar from season 1 entering a bloody house with multiple corpses in it and there was a guy with a machete standing at the top of the stairs, was the guy the same guy that is investigating Marco's precinct?

I didn't notice that part! :wow:

This is why you're a rock chick Kvz! :D

Good start, Marco continuing to mope hopefully wont drag on too much longer. Sonya's creepy hook-up with her sister's, brother's killer is interesting because it makes me wonder if they got the wrong killer, I mean he was shot and essentially turned into a barely functional person before confessing....could his brother have been the real killer?

I'm guessing the two new psychos that have come into it will be connected to the missing girls of Warez case as well, they certainly made a frightening impact.

That was Eleanor. Her male companion is the corpse driving in circles with the dog in the backseat.

No, different guy.

Funny enough, did you know that Marion's boyfriend (and baby daddy) was Diane Kruger's ex husband? Full circle! [biggrin]

:wow: I had no idea, so Diane Kruger ditched him for Pacey and Marion swept in and fixed his broken ticker? :D

No, different guy.

Wait! That was Eleanor with the machete and her companion who cut the guy's ear off was dead in the circling car?

^Yep

Good second ep. That poor kid. I guess he learned the hard way what most older men already know; never trust a woman who's trying to give you sex so easily.:(

Yeah, that kid was so dumb.

I'm wondering what exactly happened in that house and the car.

That scene at the taxidermist's place was so gross.

Damn, Eleanor is creepy as hell! I love her!

Oh btw, the second ass/side boob shot of Sonya this past ep confirms my suspicion; sadly, this week and last weeks ass shot was that of a body double and not Kruger herself. If you play back the scene (as i have..multiple times :cwink: ) you can see that it's not Kruger even though it's well edited. Also, most of the times, when they don't show the actresses face, 9/10 it's a body double. :(

God. That kid. :argh:

Nice to see Marco and Sonya back to working together again.

The kid died chasing the boobah's! :( Honestly what a plank, how he couldn't tell that all was not right with Eleanor was beyond me, no way he was that desperate for a grope. Eleanor is a fantastic villain creation, an oddity of terror.

Diane Kruger continues to develop Sonya really well, the little subtle reactions she uses as Sonya struggles to be "normal" in various situations are really effective.

I see I'm not the only one who thinks the brother is suss, don't blame Hank for having a word with him.

It's hard to see right now where all the current story threads will intersect and how it fits with the missing girls of Warez, but it's intriguing stuff and I like the duo's of Marco/Sonya and Shaggy/Mexican Lois.

Young boys will do stupid things for bewbs :p

The bank assistant that got his ear cut off; i'm wondering if he became cocky with the boss, etc after he got his ear cut off, or was he like that the whole time? LOL!

I wasn't expecting the cougar, her two sidekicks and deep voiced stolen girl saver to all return.

I wonder why Eleanor wanted them to find the kids body.

"That wasn't as good as the last time." :lmao: Never change, Sonya.

Just dropped it last week, I don't really know what the deal is, but season 1 had me hooked, and I feel like I have no investment here, just doesn't grab me.

I'm not being wowed by it myself, but I'm not ready to drop it just yet. I am not thrilled by this new female villain. I mean we already have one unbalanced female character, now we have another. Seems kind of redundant. :(

Yeah, I just don't like Franka Potente, there's something about her that I find so unlikable & irritating.

She was okay in American Horror Story Asylum, maybe because it was only for two episodes and not the whole thing. Here, she is just annoying. :(

The only thing i've seen her in is a few movies, the Bourne films; plus the recent series on BBC America 'Copper'. I've always liked her.

Yeah, she was good in the Bourne movies. Just think she is mis-cast in this. :(

I am starting to love this season it was slow early on. However the plot threads are all finally starting to come together into a cohesive story that's very intriguing. What the hell is that person to Elanor? Now some of her oddities are starting to make sense.

The first 3 episodes were drastically losing me, but I wasn't going to jump ship because s1 was so great... and then they win themselves back with this episode, a lot better.

It had claws. Is it even human?
