awwww gal was so sweet to do that for Mamoa's child. hopefully at some point we get to see this.

love the new gucci spot. some of the most beautiful shots of gal i've seen so far. and i bet that's her fencing with the sword (it looks like her body and she's had training) but no way is that her dancing. the woman they cast as her dance double has pretty thick legs compared to gal. awww camera tricks!

hoping for actual WW footage from Comic Con next weekend. maybe a new trailer featuring diana prince/WW!

Well, it's funny you say that (and I thought the same) because, in the article pertaining to the shooting of this commercial it says,

In the video campaign directed by Fabien Baron and lensed by Mert & Marcus, Gadot’s skills are put to the test yet again. Her 12 years as a dancer pay off as she moves effortlessly across a ballroom floor. Her military service came in handy when asked to wield a fencing sword, though she admits she handed that job over to a professional after performing a low lunge in heels and leather pants proved to be quite the challenge.

The Gucci commercial was nice. She's gorgeous. It reminds me a bit of Keira's Chanel campaign. I hope there's a mini movie too.

Love that story about Momoa's daughter too.

I would have been more upset if they had changed her eye colour. Why cast someone of Mediterranean appearance if you're just going to Americanize her?

I wouldn't like that as well, as it never looks good in movies.
Then again, Lee Van Cleef wore brown eye contacts through his whole career, to hide the fact that he had heterochromia (one blue and one green eye) and he is still known for his sharp, piercing eyes... look no further than "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly".

Still, I don't see how that would be "Americanizing" her. Europeans have bright eyes as well, including Mediterranean ones.

I've been a super supporter of Gadot since day one...and yes she's def one of the most beautiful women in the world and also represents a new standard of beauty (as we move away from the blonde haired blue-eyed standard of yesteryear).

But the angles in the photos Warner has released so far are not the most flattering to her features. I'm talking the WW reveal from Comic Con last year (and I actually dig the tomboy vibe of that pic, wouldn't change it) and then the two photos of Gadot from Entertainment Weekly as WW and Diana Prince. Just not her best pics.

In the new Gucci commercial and many of her modeling photos she's much prettier, at least IMO.

This might be most fluff post ever and I don't mean it to be negative. I love Gal. Crossing my fingers for WW action footage at CC this weekend!

So I was wrong about the fencing sequence. Lol. Yeah, but we're in agreement on the dance moves, that's just not her dancing across that ballroom. Gorgeous commercial though. And I freaking LOVE her accent. I hope she speaks with an American accent as Diana Prince and in her Israeli accent as WW (or a completely new accent not spoken in any nation that she learned specifically for BvS, boy that'd be paying attention to detail!).

No it's her dancing, the article says, I just didn't know.

You might remember her from the Fast & Furious film, but we have a feeling that Gal Gadot will soon become a household name after she hits the big screen opposite Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Gracing the cover of Fashion magazine for their August issue, the actress opens up about what it means to her to be wielding the golden lasso.

"She's the ultimate symbol of strength," the 30-year-old Israel native says. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd grow up to be in a movie playing someone who influenced as many women as she has."

You'd think that playing Wonder Woman would make things easy in the department of life lessons for her daughter, but Gadot says she has to be realistic when it comes to being a modern day woman.

"Nowadays being a woman is hard," Gadot continues. "Because we have to be the best wife, best mother, best worker, best everything! But I truly believe we are more empowered… we’re also stronger, sophisticated and can achieve what we want. That’s what I would like my daughter to know.”

Clay Enos is a mainly a black and white, naturalistic photographer. Enos likes to desaturate the colors because B&W is his forte. He's a great photographer, but he's not the best when it comes to shooting superheroes that need a little glamour, fanfare, and posing to look as striking as the comics. His shots are meant to be very candid and gritty so yeah, I agree the photos don't capture the actors' best sides. I wasn't that excited over the trinity cover because I know it could look so much better with some posing and at a different angle.

I liked the EW pic of her and Bruce. I thought she looked great. Now I agree with the trinity pic. It could have been better. I like the head to chest shot of them much better than the EW cover.

Is there a difference between the two? I haven't looked closely.

Not really much of a difference. I just don't prefer the full body shot.

I would like them to have Gadot open up her shoulders and hold her head higher. Maybe she needs to unlearn some of her modelling tendencies. I want to see a shots of her with a sense of confidence. So far they've played up her being a warrior with a furrowed brow.

"Hairy armpits: Will you join the club?"

She's never done much for me. But those pics are certainly swaying me...

You just like that hat and that leather vest. Admit it.
