As for this latest trailer, I thought Gadot was rather flat, and that's the first time I've ever felt that way. I'm keeping my expectations low so that I'll be easily pleased.

Really? I'm more hopeful after this trailer.

The "We are the bridge to a greater understanding" line was so good. She thinks she can convince her mother. Like, "My mom is crazy but she's a good person. She's just mad right now". and more so - she's fascinated by him and kinda shy.

Love her accent and her charm. They should let WW be more like this sometimes.

And I didn't get that feeling with the latest trailer and the TV spots. I think Gal's delivery is just fine: not flat and not too over the top. And since a lot of her lines were put in the proper context and not just haphazardly strung together, I'd say Gal sounds very natural in her delivery.

I like her accent. I do worry about some of her delivery in the trailers, but it didn't bother me in BvS, so I'm still giving her the benefit of the doubt 'til I've seen the film.

Same. Leading up to BvS I was hoping she wouldn't try to mask her accent. Imo, keeping it makes Diana feel more layered in a way.

There should be. Entertaining said behavior only leads to more problems. I've seen this happen before.

I wouldn't say that Gal had a completely American accent in Keeping up with the Joneses. She was even playing an Israeli agent pretending to be Greek, so she definitely sounded foreign. I wonder if the Greek cover identity was a nod to her Wonder Woman character.

Some people act like she's only been in bvs where she only had a handful of lines. I agree with you and don't think she is flat at all.

Anyone seen these doll repaints before by Noel Cruz, who is renowned for taking various dolls and action figures and giving them a lifelike makeover? He did one of Gal from the Jakks figure:

The likeness is excellent, and definitely much closer than some of the other Gal dolls and figures I've seen. But then it is a custom-made one and not mass produced.

There are other celebrity dolls on his site which are pretty good too. You'd have to check them out.
