I don't remember the whole thing, but the part that pertains to McShane's character says that his character is some kind of bandit if I can remember correctly wandering the Riverlands who has a huge masked bodyguard and by the end of the season, his bodyguard is revealed to be The Hound.

The new poster is definitely an older still and the blood is really photoshop-y...

I don't understand why some companies don't just accept fan art and reward to fans for it... Marvel/DC posters are especially bad... while there are just thousands and thousands of fan made material out there. MessenjahMatt for instance (wherever that dear soul may be) ... Pretty sure some of his work was in the TDKTrilogy book and he went uncredited...

The fact that HBO would release a poster with Jon Snow on it means they aren't hiding the fact that Jon Snow is still a factor, they may not even play his return as a shock/twist, they may just be straight up about it.

HBO's The Leftovers has its season 2 finale on December 6th... with the new teaser poster, the holidays, the finale... might be a time for a little more marketing... maybe even a teaser trailer. More accurately, a ******** teaser of a teasers teaser announcing the actual premiere date.
