But on the flip side, Dorne looked very uninteresting.

That's not the episode with the infamous Sand Snake fight is it?

Dorne does look pretty weak compared to the book's descriptions and the art from the card game. It came across as ridiculously underpopulated. After Winterfell looking very bland, compared to the books, that night time scene was like an oasis in a desert.

By a second Sawyer! :argh: :p

Even tho mines for the UK. :o

Wait the UK people have to wait over a day? Why would they do that? That just means people will rather pirate it.

You guys got Star Wars a day early. It's only fair. :o

GoT spoilers are harder to avoid.

Like there was this one time during the run of season 4 during the infamous [BLACKOUT]Joffrey death[/BLACKOUT], where as soon as it aired in the States some dumbass british tabloid decided to write an article about it 2 hours after it finished airing with the title saying [BLACKOUT]GAME OF THRONES: JOFFREY'S DEATH REACTION[/BLACKOUT] slapped on the title. :cmad:

And the worse thing about it is when, you know when you google something it shows you News articles related to that query? Well guess what sh***y article was on the front page of Google when you google GoT.

The anger i felt that day could have pushed me towards the Dark Side for all i cared. :o

Ah, I thought it was already confirmed for eight seasons.

With all this extra time, I'm hoping they do more to develop the White Walkers and Night's King so that they don't come off as shallow Dark Lords. There's potential with the child-soldier aspect given to the White Walkers in season four, where we see the Night's King turning one of Craster's bastards into a White Walker.

You know damn well the extra time will be dedicated to more ******** like Dorne.

A 9th is probably on the table since GRRM announced the new delay.

May as well give us Aegon at this point. Put him in Dorne or something. Just give Dorne something to do.

But that would mean making their beloved Varys evil and potentially giving us a Dragon to root for that isn't the Great White Messiah.

Well, Dany did pull a Stannis there the Meereenese nobility, Rhaegal and Viserion...I enjoyed it mind you, but I wonder if that crossed D & D's minds when they were writing it.

i thought the entire idea of that scene was stupid. not that she is feeding them to her dragons... but... like ... how would they release the dragons? its dark as **** and if you get close to one they **** you up :lmao:

PETA should be outraged at the treatment.

I recently re-read the entire Meereen arc from ADWD, and for all the critiscm it and the character get, I still think the Daenerys of the novels was more sympathetic than how they depicted her in the show. D&D for the most part try to paint Dany as entirely within the right, and yet that (coupled with Emilia Clarke's performance) makes the character seem more self-righteous and unlikeable.

Yeah Emilia Clarke really shows how self-righteous she is, and yes again the television series so far hasn't shown Daenerys having to struggle with trying to balance things in Meereen, she forced that one dude into marriage and killed off random slave masters/nobles.

I haven't read it in a while, but I can see this.

They have shown here struggle, but not in a way that portrays the problems of her own actions. They also avoid the obvious and clear comparison to the other crazies in her family, that lead the world to ruin. But that is what happens when they have every single person who comes into contact with her, worship her. On the same show as Jon, it is more stark. and yes, I mean that pun.

I miss seeing the armies of Yunkai, Astapor, and Qarth as well as the Volantene Navy converging on Meereen.

What does this mean?
