I guess I had always sorta thought Arya might end up with Gendry myself.

It does seem like a natural progression to me.
Gendry and Arya are a call back to when King Robert wanted to join houses with the Starks by marrying his son to one of Ned's daughters, and well, it very well may happen. They do have a great friendship, and their first encounter started with him sticking up for Arya. It's kind of cute to see the first time she sees Gendry in like forever, it's she who is sticking up for him against the Hound. I also hope she and Davos become good friends because he is the reason Gendry is still alive.
Well, I watched the episode again last night, as well as watching the preview of ep 2, so because of the time passed, I'm able to digest the episode with a more clearer head. I'm still not sure where they are taking Dany. For the most part, she was sweet and sincere with Winterfell. She definitely has a look on her face she realized the consequences of her actions when she executed the Tarly's with her talk with Sam. But, when watching the teaser for ep 2, some kind of understanding has to have happened because we do see
.
It also looks like she and Sansa might be able to have a sit down and actually talk, which is what they need. Daenerys actually needs that, some one on one conversations with the ladies of Winterfel, including Arya and Lyanna Mormont. Arya would be a good litigator too, because she will support her sister and Lyanna, but at the same time, she has also always loved the stories of the Tageryen sisters who rode their dragons with their brother into battle, and Dany as well as Sansa and Lyanna hearing Arya tell those same stories she was telling Tywin might help them see Dany in a better light. Either way, Dany needs some quality time with Jon's most favorite person in the whole world, Arya, because she is not a typical girl playing the Game of Thrones. It would be kind of neat if Arya started to show Dany and Sansa how to shoot a bow and arrow and to defend themselves properly with a sword.
Now for Jaime. He's still not redeemed in my eyes. Arya last seen him at the Frey's (as well as Bronn, so she know's he is with the Lannisters so keep that in mind if he makes his way up to the North to do whatever he plans on doing that she will know his face) and she will also know he was there because he pretty much killed the rest of the Tullys minus Edmure, whereever he is. But, how is going to explain that? It just doesn't look good on his part that he was still fighting for the very house that brutally executed Robb and Catelyn Stark. And don't forget, Arya was there when she saw them killing her family's army as well as Greywolf, and both she and The Hound watched what they did to her brother. Are they going to go into this in the show, or are they just going to conveniently leave it out like they did when you had Tyrion and Davos talking despite Tyrion being responsible for the death of Davos son? Surprised there were no words about that.
Now Bran. Are we going to see him warg into one of the dragons? After seeing how he is responsible for what happened to Hodor, is he also responsible with what happened to the Mad King? I still have this suspicion he might be also responsible for Dany getting the dragon eggs to begin with. I also think he very well may die because if we still have traitors among the good guys, it would be all to easy to use him to find out who they are, and well, he can't be used if he's no longer alive.
And where is Meera? I know she went back home, but she is too good of a fighter to not be at Winterfell. Unless Bran purposely drove her off because he cares about her that much and doesn't want her killed? Are we going to see Howland Reed, who is someone else besides Sam's books and Bran's visions who can vouch for who Jon really is?
