Oh this GOT board drama.... this is the good stuff.

2 years for 6 episodes?!

No way. This is ridiculous.

im guessing it will be late 2018... ending in 2019... if it's later than season 7 at all... was this actually confirmed or just saying it's possible?

I took that comment as sensationalism. I don't believe they'd actually drag 6 episodes out until 2019. They would lose a lot of momentum.

I would be sad and annoyed if we had to wait 2 years for the final season but then again if they need the time to workout a epic ending to the hole thing i would completely understand. Rather have something epic to finish off the best series ever than to have something underwhelming and rushed.

Casey Bloys said that D&D would be working on and planning the final season for the next year and a half. The interviewer asked if it was possible that season 8 would be released in 2019 and Casey said

"They have to write the episodes and figure out the production schedule. We’ll have a better sense of that once they get further into the writing."

Kit Harrington is starting off the late night rounds tonight on James Corden... MAYBE we'll get a new clip... at the very least new clips will be coming during the late night rounds.

Oh god that comic XD casual mashup of my two favorite shows ... would not be unhappy with that as an ending haha

Pretty much what I expected. The only real surprise is Episode 4 being only 50 minutes.

Well Episode 409 - The Watchers on the Wall was only 51 minutes.

I believe it could be the Field of Fire 2.0 Episode

That must be the episode when Dany and her army attack Casterly Rock.

oh those extended episodes.... looks like Roosey boy owes me...

now take off your shirt and start cooking.

It'd be a trip if the finale season were like what they do with Sherlock and just be 3 1hr 30 mins episodes.

It'd almost be like a trilogy movie series right there.

Bah! Bah I say! Get back to me when we get 10 hours of material over the span of 7 episodes.

So technically makes this upcoming one the * shortest * GoT episode ever (but by one minute...who cares. I guess clickbait people do)
