Looks like we're going to get back the power and majesty of the lightsaber. Something that was sorely lacking in the prequels.

I'm loving the cinematography. The lighting looks natural and the color palette isn't so blue-ish like in the Star Trek movies.

Lookin Good Abrams! The dual in the snow and ice is gonna be beautiful! On the downside Finn is probably going to get his @ss handed to him by Kylo Ren. Just my personal observation, Finn based on what I've seen is a newbie, Ren looks to be more experienced in the ways of the Force.

Oh so excited that last shot of Finn looks great looks like we are gonna get a nice fight between Ren and Finn

Part of me wants Rey to be the jedi and the other half wants Finn to be the jedi.

I would hope for both but is that even possible from a storytelling perspective?

Finn is temporarily captain of the lost Bespin lightsaber like Spock was temporarily captain before Kirk of the Enterprise in Star Trek 2009 due to the certain circumstances (Nero and Kylo Ren's intervention in the destiny of another character--Kirk and Rey). He ultimately has to give it up to someone else by the end.

There appears to be many ideas borrowed from that movie in The Force Awakens.

Luke was Jedi in the original trilogy but Leia was also Force sensitive.

No reason Finn and Rey can't both be force sensitive but be more adept than one another in different areas of the force.

There is also potential drama to be generated between them if one of them is tempted to join the dark side or Knights of Ren
