Anyways, at my school, there is a girl who I really like...And I can't seem to muster up the courage to talk to her because I'm one shy guy.And the thing is I like everything about her...and it's killing me that I can't really talk to her.

Any advice?

I mean...In stuff like acting im the best in my class and im never nervous about going on stage. But with girls, Im crap

I would take the opportunity to talk to her in class, it's less stressful, or take a timed walk by her locker, at the end of the day.

While that may be true...I have no idea why the statement "chicks like to talk about themselves" makes you think this. They do. And I'd be willing to bet in any given conversation you do to. That's what conversation usually entails. If you make a point to talk about yourself readily that is poor social skills, especially when you "want" something from the other party. Anything you say about yourself needs to only be in the context of what others say about themselves, otherwise you'll just come across as an arrogant braggart where ever you go.

While I can be manipulative in a conversation, I would only be a sociopath if I did not conform to societal norms...as all sociopathic behavior is constrained around the notion of feeling oneself above laws and ethics.

here, just go up to her and say that you think she is the bes thing you ever say in your school and you cant stop thinking about her. then walk away and just ignore her for the rest of the day, hopefully she would be spending alot of the day thinking about what you said and the more she thinks about what you said the more she is thinking about you and slowly her feelings start to grow for you as well.

have you ever talked to her or hung out with her?...because if you haven't, you can't possibly like "everything about her"...if the answer to my question is "no", then it's probably just physical attraction and don't kid yourself past that.

if you want to get to know her then the only thing you can do is talk to her. and the most important thing (and i can't f#cking stress this enough) is this: BE YOURSELF! if she doesn't like the real you, not amount of impressing her and faking an attitude with her will ever get her to really like you...and she will eventually find out about the real you, so it is important to really just be yourself.

bottom line...if you play ANY games, you are an idiot. anyone gives you any advice like "talk to her, get her interested...then don't talk to her for awhile" or "don't give her too much attention, lead her on" tell them they are idiots because none of these people ever survive a relationship more than 1 month tops. it is stupid and you will ultimately be playing yourself and getting a nice list of girls who hate you.

if you want ANY advise about getting with a girl you really care about...i'm your man.

-been dating the same girl for 5+ years
-we met sophemore year of highschool and i'm now a senior in college and we live together
