Girl on bond gives judge the finger, gets 30 days in prison

Yeah but this happens on a daily basis... Why is this particular case getting so much attention? .. + I wonder who released the video..

My comment wasn't directed at you, just a general observation.

Why this is getting so much attention? No idea.

There are tons of these videos out on the net. Some are just as amusing. It's funny how the judge usually comes out on top in these "confrontations". Hmmmmm

Oh yeah man I know, no problem, just using some of what you said to ask why basically.

LOL you are right.. whats the saying "if you wanna yell, you go to the cell"

I read this **** yesterday, im sorry for her but i thought this **** was funny. lol :lmao:

As a man who does not have much respect for the law or cops or judges, I'm going with the judge on this one. Well not the adios sentence but with the 30 days. What's the bg deal about 30 days? Wd you think would happen when you flip off a judge? I think it's worth it personally. I'll do 30 days if it means I can flip off the judge

30 days is a long time to be locked up somewhere over being rude, even if it doesn't seem like much compared to the 50 consecutive life-without-parole sentences you read about yesterday.

A just sentence, she deserved it. I've encountered scum like her so many times in my life, if I could throw them in with Ilsa the She Wolf in Cell Block D I would.

Girls can be punks too, and if a girl wants to be a punk, she can be treated like one.

Stupid lazy punks who like to wear baggy pants should learn from this too.

What do you mean?

If the law cannot punish that which is wrong, or push back (appropriately in this case) when pushed, then it defeats much of the purpose of laws to begin with.

What do you mean?

I think he means....if you make a law, you are supposed to enforce it...if you do not enforce it, then can it really be called a law...it becomes more of a suggestion then.

I think if the young person in question was male, particularly fitting the description of the above, this wouldn't even be a debate. Not only that, we'd all be on our 3rd or 4th biker rape joke by now.

I wish he'd sentenced her to community service instead. That way she'd do something to help society while being punished, and I'm sure it would be more embarrassing to have to pick up trash by the side of the road rather than sit in a cell.

The World would be really crucial if there was camps like Ilsa the She Wolf in cell block D lol But i understand where your going with this. Some people just need the punishment.

What a stupid tart. She deserved all she got...

The look on her face when he doubled her bail and then sentenced her was priceless.

If she doesn't have an issue paying $5,000 she shouldn't have one paying $10,000. You don't see Lindsay Lohan acting all kooky when she has to pay large sums of money for bail.

it's funny, but it's also a bit of abusive power. She needs to lawyer up

I can't flip someone off and then they get mad and I come back and say you have anger issues. I could do that but most people would agree I had it coming for my actions. She got what she deserved if you ask me.

Amazingly, when her laughing stopped, mine started.

If this was Iraq, the judge will sentence her to death................ WHICH IS MY POINT.... it's abusive power.

It's not abusive power. Contempt of court is a crime, and 30 days in jail is well within the sentencing guidelines for that crime. The judge didn't create a new law out of thin air.

You can abuse existing laws you know? I'm sure when the law was written it wasn't intended for rude, immature girls.

Anyplace in the third world shed already be dead for that type old ****.

I can't believe people are saying he abused his power. Are you kidding me?! There's a reason she's in front of the judge in the first place, and her behaving like that in front of a JUDGE is just plain stupid.

She apologized, and no longer needs to serve the 30 days.
