Girl on bond gives judge the finger, gets 30 days in prison

Did she apologize because she knows her behavior as indecent...or because she wanted to get out of the 30 days?

I think we all know why...

There`s no way she had a sudden attack of conscience. She just wants to get out of the thirty days.

If I was the judge, I`d make her serve the time. Might teach her a lesson.

And what lesson is that exactly?

That if she acts like an indecent troublemaker, she'll be punished like one....?

And if she still needs reminding, she'll get it again. It's the lesson that'll just keep on giving, yo?

I still don't agree that throwing someone in jail for 30 days is the proper response for being a rude dumbass kid. I don't think that teaches anyone anything other than causing more hatred towards authority figures. I'm not saying the judge was wrong but again, there's no lesson to be learned here.

Which is why she goes to jail, and not a classroom for the morally-challenged youth. If she doesn't deserve lessons, the she won't get them...but she will get punishment.

I can punch someone in the face walking down the street right now and I'd get less time.

Not if you curse and act like a jerk in court at your hearing.

Is there a lesson in that somewhere?
