I personally have no problem with GoW2 coming to the PS2. It will be awesome reguardless of if it's on the PS2 or not, and then we'll be getting a God of War 3 a few years after this for the PS3 anyway.

I don't really see how GoW would translate all that well in terms of being that much better on the next gen hardware. I can see ading more enmies, brutaller graphics and blood physics, but it's not such a huge thing that I'm dissapointed by GoW2 being on the PS2. GoW3 will make that jump and be awesome, just like GoW1/2 are.

Whoever gets Gameinformer, if they could get us scans so we can actually read the text, that would be awesome.

Chill out dude Jesus Christ I was just posting the whole article because I didn't want people to think about the I just wrote the article on Mircosoft word and pasted it just to save my ass jesus, so what I put a little bit of another game that I'm looking forward to seeing for a PS3 I just wanted to tell someone else about it encase they didn't know about it and maybe now interested and they are aware of a good game they can get with the PS3 while they wait for god of war.

Anyways yes lets get back on topic however I think people should be able to state possible other things I mean all of my topics people post other things and its interesting to know what else is going on if it was just a God of War 2 thread you should of put God Of War 2 only. If God of War 2 are launch titles Resistance: Fall of Man (I get anything from Naughty Dog and Insomniac) followed shortly by Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Grand Theft Auto 6, I will definetly get the Playstation 3 on launch.

Sony has confirmed that the Playstation 3 will be around $300-$400. Don't buy into those bulls**t rumors that say it will be higher than that price range. Remember when there were rumors saying that the Playstation Portable was going to be over $200 and some were saying that it was going to be up to $500. Plus selling a console over $500 is going to be market suicide/******edness.

I think PS3 is going to have a way better launch just for their games in genral will own 360 just because they are being patient and waiting for games they feel will be totally games that will get a lot of good reviews and a lot of publicity. 360 totally should of waited for Halo 3

On IGN they said that PS3 will cost 399 because 360 set the bar for PS3 prices. I guess it pays to go last, you learn from your foe with their mistakes and their hits.

Like don't do an international launch and don't try and concentrate on a market that hates your product

We have to wait and see. If rumors such as God of War 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, Unreal Tournament 2007, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (this one is unlikely), being launch titles are true then the Playstation 3 launch will devastate the launch line up that was for the Xbox 360.

However the Xbox 360 will have some pretty damn cool games itself. It has the Dead or Alive, Halo, Ninja Gaiden, and Fable franchises behind its belt. Also Morrowind IV: Oblivion and Gears of War are going to be cool.

In the end it depends on who has the better games.

I didn't hate it like it may seem from what I have said. It just didn't live up to my expectation, I preffered DMC3.

If Kratos is fighting the gods, I seriously hope tha the gods use and empower (age, embue with raw power, etc) all of his bastard children that must roaming the world.

I think he's just gonna fight Zeus. I remember when you walked past the conveyor belts to the room with Pandora's Box, there was a mural on the floor that said something like "A mortal fighting Zeus depicting the future" which I found to be somewhat foreshadowing of a future game and ofcourse there's the video at the end when you beat God mode.

First off I want to appologize to Zenien for being such an *******, it's really hard to understand people when they say a comment because you don't have the tone of voice to back up what they say and I took it as a negative comment towards myself. So I am sorry Zenien because I missed your please you were very polite and there were some words that I missed because it looked like you were flaming me out for talking about PS3 games so again I appologize.

Now that that's out of the way I want to first off say what I think God of War is going to be about. Now I think God of War 2 is going to be this huge climax between Krato's and Zesus I think that he is going to try to kill Zesus for a reason (Beat God mode then you'll know) and he is going to try and kill him however like I said before Zesus will go into hiding in some sort of structure that would take years to climb for a mortal but before you can do that you have to go around and kill every god and get what they offer to you. Then you figure out this structure and know that you can't climb it so you go looking for Iccarus where you get the wings made out of wax, you go to the structure and fly up it a little while when all of a sudden the sun begins to melt them and the objective is to fly down as fast as you can before they melt. Then you go and talk to appolo who is protecting Zesus by putting the sun on the structure so you can't get up there so you go and fight him and he's in his chariot and he flies and what you do is fly after him but if you get to close then your wings will melt so you have to speed ahead and then get some distance in front of him and slash the horses with athena's blades. Then once you kill Apollo the Structure is now yours to get into however Zesus still puts up a fight so he goes into Hades and gets your brother to fight for him since your brother like hates you. So now you have to try to kill your brother and Zeus at the same time so since you are out numbered Krato's will do the unthinkable. Rally up an old dead allie. He will bring back a God from death.

what if you get to play as Krato's Brother, like you fight your way out of the underworld like in God Of War or they do an RE4 kind of thing where you beat the game but there's chapter's that tie up the loose ends in the story.
