Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) - Part 1

A tease for something that'll unfold in GvK. Whether it'll feature Kong or not, we'll have to see.

Well, you're making this judgment out of two vague tweets without even seeing the movie first and properly judging it.

Seems to me like you're putting the human element above the monster element and acting like it's the most important aspect, not to mention (taking your previous posts into account as well) that you've already decided you're going to dislike the movie.

Yeah for myself personally when I’m going to see monster movies especially one like this that’s gonna have lots of monster vs monster action, the human element and characters are not overly important. But maybe that’s just me.

I guess they are not including the Netflix version, that thing was huge .Nice to see that legendary has came back and taken the title of largest Godzilla away from Shin Godzilla.

I can’t wait to see it in action!

I've been loving a lot about KOTM but the "darkness" aspect was something i disliked in the earlier trailers.
Hopefully it's not that much of a big deal. If it's another GOT s8 e3 kind of situation then i might have an issue with it.

I don’t understand why they would opt for the night shots, when Kong fought that skull crawler in the day it looked great!! I watch it in 4K hdr and it still looks great! The technology exists to do daytime fight scenes and pull it off convincingly.

From what I have seen in King of the monsters trailers though, the scenes look really good, even in the dark though, so hopefully it’s not a big deal like you said.

A part of it, I believe, is to highlight the glowing parts of the monsters.

(sorry for saying lol in this day and age. Also, Long Live Shin Godzilla, one of my faves).

I didn't have any problem following the fight scenes in 2014.

I must admit I did have in the cinema, found the much easier to follow on BD though.

Not sure if it’s already happened in the US, but any news of a 4K release for the 2014 movie?

Nice!

I wonder when the review embargo will be lifted....some time this week or next week?
