That classic Godzilla march that kicks in at the 45 second march, but feels so heroic. Makes you want to fist pump like, "Go kick his butt!"

And all the other themes that kick in through that track, it's so super well done.

I'm trying do decide which Godzilla movies to watch to prep for this movie.

May pick up the Criterion Channel to watch some of the Showa movies I don't have on DVD. Definitely watching the Heisei series. Skipping most of the Millenium era. Somewhat tempted to break out the Mothra trilogy.

I'm trying do decide which Godzilla movies to watch to prep for this movie.

For Godzilla 2014, I watched a number of Godzilla films leading up to seeing that movie. I can't remember what or how many, maybe it was 10, but I know one day equaled one Godzilla movie, and it would end with opening night for G'14.

One idea would be pick one great Godzilla movie, one great Ghidorah movie or with him in it, same for Mothra, and again for Rodan. I would also add my idea below along with it, but in either case, that's a very easy and nice "prep".

For me: while I want to do this again, given my busy schedule, and since this is the third of the Monsterverse series, its obvious and it is the easiest approach to watch Godzilla 2014 and Kong: Skull Island, or vice versa given canon, before seeing KOTM. That will be me.

James Rolfe from Cinemassacre did a Godzilla: My Picks video, so perhaps his advice would work for any one of you too.

Personal opinion, but any good Godzilla marathon would need vs. Destoroyah. The ending to that is still amazing every time I see it, and Destoroyah itself is one of the best and most evil looking antagonists that is actually formidable. Also, no Manila (technically), which is what kills me about a lot of other movies I would otherwise enjoy.

Unless you like that muppet, which is totally cool, but he puts me off so much from movies I'd otherwise want to see.

This last bit of footage with a ton of relevant stuff to me signals that the studio wants more butts on seats.
We saw a few days ago that de box office predictions weren't as high as hoped which was strange because of the quality of the material we have seen so far.

So i guess that was the last big push towards capturing people's attention and making them interested.

I thought everything in trailers were fair game. If you're that set against any and all spoilers then it should be on you to stop visiting discussion boards. At some point it gets a little ridiculous.

Like is it a spoiler to talk about the different monsters we saw in the trailer? Is it allowed to have a Mothra avatar? What CAN we post?

I’m loving everything about this movie but I still think it’s going to do Godzilla vs Kong a disservice. The Big G faces a three headed dragon that can cause fatal thunderstorms and energy bolts but we’re supposed to believe an ancient gorilla can put up a harder fight for him after this movie?

I've come to this weird conclusion about Space G...in that while it might be one of the weakest of the G movies...it actually has one of the more memorable human story lines
