Apparently the review embargo is set to lift tomorrow.

THE HYPE RISES!

I NEED THIS MOVIE IN MY VEINS NOW!

Apparently the review embargo is set to lift tomorrow.

makes sense since today is a Holiday. Wish the had lifted it last week, but there have been PLENTY of screenings so we know they're not hiding the Screen

Can't wait for Double Toasted's review. Corey's a huge Godzilla fan.

Man, I have to wait till 8:15 for a Thur Imax showing.

Tue before release is standard. Nothing to takeaway from it.

Upper-high 70s to mid 80s (78-85%).

Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island both stand now with 75%. I can't see how this won't get at least 3 more percentage points.

Godzilla failed in its Jaws treatment of the monster action by making its character development practically non-existent, so it was easy to not care at all about anything that was going on until you got to the monster scenes.

Kong: Skull Island had more action, but seeing Kong in CGI was nothing new on account of Peter Jackson's King Kong remake in 2005.

This movie will feature Toho legends Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah, as well as a number of new monsters; and needless to say that it'll have a LOT more monster action than the 2014 movie - no way they'll use the already-used Jaws suspension of the monster scenes, and there's no possibility of having more boring characters, as the ones in the 2014 movie were as boring as boring can be within the realm of possibility.

I like the way they treated the first movie. There was a seriousness about the film that gave the monster scenes some weight. I don't want them straying too far toward action camp.
