In the first movie, the Muto monsters were clearly "bad". But in this movie, is it more nebulous about the "alignment" of the key creatures? Will there be more generic Mutos for the sake of having a common foe?

King Ghidorah will most certainly be an outright evil creature. That's his characterisation for the majority of his existence.
