I think it's a GREAT idea and gives the human scale drama some teeth if indeed it plays out the way the trailer made it to be. I can't see this being resolved in a "no harm, no foul" way cuz... Well the trailer shows an epic quotient of "foul".

I am super happy cuz Millie has a good arc and character to play off of. That's a great dynamic that could yield some good dramatic fireworks in my mind. Something to match the spectacle they've obviously provided us.

Great trailer. I got chills. Surprisingly more wondrous than a movie about four giant monsters fighting each other but that's a good thing. It's good to see this won't just be about that. Yet it seems like a natural next step after the last one.

I hope it works out. I expected this with the 2014 movie, and then nothing at all really. I am hoping the movie can match the trailer hype.
