Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) - Part 1

I remember someone who apparently saw a test screening told me that there was a wolly mammoth in the movie. I hope thats true.

Man, I'd kill to see a modern Hollywood version of Biollante.

Dougherty mentioned a while back that if he got to do another one Biollante would be his pick for the sequel villain.

Yeah he talked about Biollante and Gigan.

GvBio is one of the most underrated of the series. Great human story combined with great monster action. Plus Bio's origin could easily be adapted into the monsterverse.

So that's why Ghidorah never needed arms....

Also I've heard many variants: What is the correct way to pronounce Ghidorah?

It's like the original Pokemon pronunciation debates.

Going by the viral stuff (and admittedly some leaked info) they're going with the notion that not only is King G a dragon, but he's also the inspiration for every major dragon myth in human culture, and that Dante's depiction of Satan as a multiheaded beast trapped in ice was base death purely off Ghidorah in Antarctica.

Wow!! I like that angle. This movie is shaping up to be epic! I loved Kong skull island and this looks even more over the top than that! Godzilla squaring off with Ghidora on the big screen in all their CGI glory!! Count me in! I’m seeing this multiple times in theaters.. This is my event movie for the summer.

“The Art and Making of Godzilla: King of the Monsters” is an in-depth behind the scenes look at the epic movie from Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Packed with concept art, on-set photography, and detailed insight from key members of the production throughout, this beautiful hardback book coffee table art book tells the story of how Godzilla and his foes were brought to life.

I confess I read the 98's Zilla novelisation back in the day.

It was a really bad book.
