I'm pretty sure the lava claws are just Rodan's. Could be (hopefully) wrong, though.

Yeh the claw seems to be from Rodan.
There's an underground monster that shows up in a screen with the caption:

Munich Germany

At least i'll give Rodan an "A" for effort in facing KG like that...
