The only likely way I'd see Kong appearing in this is at the end of the movie.

Also, why comment on a Godzilla thread when the character doesn't interest you.
I just saw Kong:Skull Island that is why. The credit scene had me unsure if the next Godzilla movie would have both of them.

i wonder in which Time Period the movie takes place in ours or much earlier

Wouldn't make sense for a Godzilla sequel to take place in the past, now would it? :oldrazz:

i think it would because they found out about him and the other 3 main monster in the 70's than it was hinted that some KSI actors could come back to the monsterverse so

Sorry, but gonna disagree with you there.

They found cave paintings of Rodan, Mothra, Ghidorah, and the big G, which does suggest they were still around and kicking in the pre-historic ages where Man had already existed. I don't see how that automatically means Godzilla 2, which has always been stated as being a sequel rather than a prequel, would take place before the 2014 predecessor. We might get flashbacks or a couple of scenes in that time period, but Godzilla: King Of The Monsters will still very much be a sequel.
And where has it been said some Kong: Skull Island characters would be returning to other movies?

in one of the many interviews they where asked if they would return but nobody has answered that so could this or not be a hint for the future

also here a Mothra Easter Egg from KSI

Doesn't the timeline go:

Kong:Skull Island
Godzilla vs King Kong
Godzilla
And now Godzilla: KotM?

Nope. Everything after Skull Island takes place in modern times after Godzilla.

I saw that, and thought it was really cool.

I'd like to see some of the Skull Island characters return. Maybe in a solo Rodan film?

Depends if they take place in the past.

if Kong gets any bigger, then what kind of threat are the skull island monsters at all?

I just assumed there was always the possibility that they could become larger as well...or that maybe the island houses greater threats we haven't seen yet?

Wildcard, it was hinted that Skull Island was an opening, portal to the inside of the earth. So I suppose that anything huge could come through that hole.

Ah, okay. I thought that's what they were getting at. Following down that route, they can easily introduce bigger threats for Kong down the road. The Skullcrawlers were pretty sick so I'm anxious to see what other creature designs they come up with in regards to Skull Island.

I just wanna see what King Ghidorah looks like in Legendary's version....

You're gonna have to wait a long while for footage or concept art to come then.

Yeah, unfortunately that's not something we're gonna see any time soon. But I'm confident it'll be beyond worth it when we do find out what he looks like.

On the upside, it's gonna start filming in Atlanta this summer and I'm sure news of it, though very few, will hit Comic Con.

Much less likely is a concept teaser like the one we got for the first Godzilla in 2012.

I want to see a concept teaser could happen again, but I gotta imagine that the further they get into building the MonsterVerse, the more they'll want to keep things underwraps.
