I bought the DVD tonight. Will watch it tomorrow. When it was released to theaters I wasn't ready to go to the theater yet, and I didn't have HBOMax....but My nephew has it, so I watched it at his house. The sound was terrible. I think I only heard about one third of what was said. So tomorrow I will watch it with subtitles.

I got the regular DVD. It came with two discs. The movie on one and a second disc with extras. It says the extras are over an hour consisting of 10 different featurettes.

I watched it this afternoon with my daughter. As I wrote earlier, the first time I saw it there was a major problem with the sound, so it really hurt my enjoyment. This time the sound was great and I had subtitles which helped a lot too. It was a lot of fun. My daughter loved it (I haven't been able to get her to sit down for an entire movie for over a year now....but she was enthralled with this.)

On a side note. This movie takes place around 45 years after KONG: SKULL ISLAND. There was no mention of how they built the enclosure Kong is now in or how they got him there. Is there any plans to make a prequel movie about that?

My immediate reaction to seeing that enclosure was "If the military caught hell from Kong just from flying near him in the beginning of Skull Island then how was Monarch able to pull off building an enclosure around him?"

I think you misunderstood my post. Sorry. Yes I've seen $30 dollars at various places but 30 dollars is alot to spend on a 4k/blu-ray. I'm more used to seeing $21-24 dollars tags.
