That’s what she saidThat seems excessively long.
Hong kong
I don't think she'd ever say thatThat’s what she said
I'm a little worried he might look "too good" if you know what I mean. Like, Godzilla might get some ideas kind of good. I am looking for a good ole fashion fight, not a romance. Ugh.I can't get over how amazing Kong looks. Simply phenomenal.
Wasn't it reported last year that the film had a runtime of 107 minutes? Seems odd to have an early fight eat up 18 minutes of that short runtime.
The Fury Road of monster flicks? I am all for it being composed of fight sequence after fight sequence. That is what we are here for after all.Because, by all accounts this film is more action centric and has less of a focus on human drama. Kong himself is something of a protagonist, hence him signing ala Planet of the Apes.
Thank goodness for that.![]()
Looks like the upcoming 4K release of Godzilla 2014...restores the brightness to its cinema levels!

Bringing up old grudges from the 2014 movie. It would be more fun to watch if I could actually SEE Muto and Godzilla fight
Muto's encounter with the nuke was nothing more than pitch black with some red eyes moving around.
Positive thing about the situation is that because of the reduced marketing and WB forking out 250 mil to Legendary to have this on HBOMAX, film’s effectively paid for already. Most of the Asian and Oceanic markets are open now too, so while this won’t be a huge global event, might turn a decent profit all things considered. It's a shame we're in a pandemic because I truly think this movie could be a giant hit. Both of these monsters are icons and it's a once and a blue moon thing. The last time this happened was 60 years ago.
