But there's no rollercoaster if you know the final score.

How exciting is it to watch an old sports game when you already know the winner?

I haven't the faintest clue. I've always hated sports.

Either you love it to death or hate it like it was the worst thing that happen.

Too much invested in what others think. Take Elsa's advice, and let it go. :D

Everything is still chasing Star Wars(the OT) to get as on the ball so well as that did, even though the truth is that kind of thing can't really happen anymore in this day and age. Even Star Wars itself, if it was released today for the first time would not hit the pop culture nearly as hard as it did then. No single IP can have that level of impact nowadays. There's simply too much in the pop culture consciousness competing for our attention.

Just remember, there are a lot of positive reviews that are needing to be posted, and I'd wager that there will be some more positives coming tomorrow as well.

And there are some great, great reviews that won't ever see RT, which sucks, yeah… but that's with every movie.

He really didn't like it

I think someone said Kyle Smith was the same one who didn't like CBMs much?

Ehhhhh… that happens.

We still have Roeper, Travers, NYDN, AV Club… I think Michael Phillips of the Tribune will be positive as well.

It could, but it would have to come out of nowhere and be completely new and like nothing we've ever seen before.

It's a once in a lifetime, massive cultural event that can't be predicted or replicated. We won't see it again in our lifetime.

What do you mean? Did you not see Avatar?!

I saw it, and Titanic. It is not the same as Star Wars. Star Wars has gone beyond the money it has made. It is a part of culture, and has been for 40 years. Like Batman since the 80s or the MCU has become the last decade. There is a reason why nearly 40 years later, VII is arguably the most anticipated film since TPM.
