Its actually not that bad off. 16 straight positive reviews in a row and it'll be back to 90%. It may not quite do that, but if it gets close it'll probably slowly drift up to 90% as the rest of the reviews trickle in (which tend to be a little kinder than average).

Marvel has really, really spoiled us but good, LOL, if we're all deflated over a high 80's RT percentage.

It would've been nice for a third MCU film to remain in the 90's but I guess it was too much to ask for a movie as strange as GotG.

This one made me laugh.

It's like the silly, superhero-loving kids goofing off in the back of the classroom looked at The Avengers and X-Men and declared, "Hey, how hard can it be to save the world? Let's do it too!"

Yeh so up themselves ;) 'i'm smart everyone else is dumb this film is dumb blah blah blah'

My guess is high 70s to low 80s. As history has proven, most CBMs take a dip once they enter the U.S.

Up to 95/108 now. If we take the average number of reviews the 3 big Marvel property films got (235,) we're not even halfway done yet. Still don't see GotG dropping below 80 unless there's some big wave of negatives, which I think is a pretty big longshot at this point with how reviews are going.

So wait, if this finishes in the 80s or higher, TASM2 will be considered arguably the worst CBM of 2014? Yikes.

It would only have to be finish 54% or higher for that. :word:

I think with the number of reviews and the general avg that it won't slip below mid 80s.

I'm aware of TMNT's comic origins and I think even if you wanted to argue TF being a comic book, you'd still have once THE comic franchise only better than 2 Michael Bay movies. :o

Still at 88%, but its *exactly* 1 Fresh review away from ticking up to 89% (it was at like 88.495% or something).

But the time has finally come for to judge it for myself. Dinner and a a flick my older daughter. Should be fun.

It's at 89% now with 101 out of 114. It'll need another 10 positives to be at 90%.
