I like Paul Rodgers a lot, and I love Queen, but ne'er 'tween should the two have ever met. Rodgers butchers Queen songs as far as I'm concerned. His style and range just really aren't suited for Queen's music. Quite frankly, I was more impressed with the way George Michael sang "Somebody To Love" at the Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert and kind of hoped Queen would recruit him to sit in for Freddy. Instead, he decided to squander his talent on crappy pop music and getting arrested for soliciting men in the park. There's another Queen tribute album out there that Robin McAuley does a cover of "I Want It All" on (with Chris Impelliterri on guitar, whom I can't stand) that makes me wish Queen would have considered him as well. Rodgers just doesn't fit with that band.
