It's not necessarily being positive, it's being open-minded when we still really don't have much to go on. Hoping for the best, instead of assuming the worst. I think a few people on this thread can learn a thing or two about that.

Bu anyone that has been following The CW. Has a right to be negative as well if they know what has happened in the past. Just like somebody being open minded. Somebody being negative especially with The CW can be negative as well

Sure the cw can be bad but come on we do have to remember first it was ran by dawn o who wanted just female demos and stuff like that, she just left this past start of the tv season. Then like we have said before we have a new guy in charge. Its not possible of smart to change everything right off the bat. When there is still some of dawn o crap doing well. you got to phaze things out and phaze things in. The network can change its just going to take a little time for that to happen.

Donut, i was optimistic about ww, and then yea disapointed with the stuf that did go down. But i know/been around film stuff and read behind the scenes news/info on many shows/films. Things can and usually do change a bit from planning to actual shooting stage, and then can change even more when it goes to series. That is why i keep bringing up what i said. Right now we are just in casting stage, so if castings dont work out or when they shot the pilot execs dont like certain things. They could recast or just drop things. Same goes with character breakdowns. Many times when we learned about upcoming guest heroes/villains/etc.... supporting players we heard x...... description for them. But then once it goes to shooting and we see the episode the character is totally different then those first character breakdowns we read online.

If they really wanted to get peoples attention, they should definitely use a batman villain, like penguin or the riddler, they could really cash in on the hype from the film.

Which is a probblem there batman is/probably will be offlimits to ga producers just like sv. You run into legal issues there. Which is why you have to work with what you can or in the case of villains go for generalize villains, or like sv did lesser known/lower tier heroes, along with a few big guns that may not e tied to legal issues.

I read that David Nutter is officially on-board for the pilot. I guess they're hoping that lightening strikes twice in a bottle.

More than twice. That guy's the pilot master!

Yep. He's done the pilots for SV, Supernatural, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dark Angel, Jack and Bobby, The Mentalist.... he's good.

I can deal. he was recently on VD and he tried out for Spartacus.

I haven't seen this guy in anything. He certainly has a look similar to Ollie. So, I'm going to remain optimistic for this. :D

The guy looks familiar. I think I've seen him in something but I just can't remember. Anyway, looking forward to seeing how it all turns out!

I still wish there was a better title than Arrow

He plays Thomas Jane's male prostitute competition on Hung. He's actually pretty funny on that show although his character is somewhat of a "Himbo". Not really feeling him right now as OQ, but we'll see.

I saw the first few episodes of Hung and then sort of tuned out. Maybe I'll pick it up again.

I think arrow is a fine title. Green has been ruined by green hornet,& green lantern. Star city wouldn't work. Emerald avenger wouldnt. Emerald archer...maybe. But arrow is best.

He looks the part and I'm glad their going with someone older.

I've seen him in Closing the Ring.

More of a 'male bimbo' type than a serious actor, but I'm assuming CW is going that direction with Oliver Queen... just like Smallville did.

I just a pic of him with a goatee and didn't realize he was the guy who played Jason in Hung till someone pointed that out. :o

I knew he looked familiar, but I've only seen him in two episodes so I can't judge too much. He does look the part though IMO and frankly I'm glad they didn't choose someone too young. We'll see how he does.

Man I hope this series does well...

I think it all starts with the costume if they want to get people interested. That wonder woman one was horrendous. The last superhero tv show to have a good costume was the flash back in the 90's. Hopefully they invest money in that since this show should be very light on the CG effects.

You watch Vampire Diaries, right? He was the werewolf that knew Jules and tried to get Tyler to tell them the location of the moonstone.
