As much as I have admired Hot Toys figures, I've never felt so tempted to buy any as I have seeing these pictures.

Wow! Last time I purchased something from Hot Toys was 2008 the Bank Robber Joker. I've seen plenty since then that I'd like to have but just didn't want to spend the money. I get my check this Friday and I'm putting down the first payment for the set of these two. Gotta have em both. Hopefully I'll be able to get Star Lord as well.

The Star Lord 12 inch figure with Sounds/sayings is pretty sweet. 3 modes - tap once - saying, tap twice - music, Hold down - Battle mode.

I really want all of the Hot Toys Guardians, but I'm just going to settle for Star-Lord & maybe Drax or Rocket.

If you are going to buy Rocket, you should get Groot as well. These two shouldn't be separated.

Rocket is $160. Groot is $200.

He's probably going to be the cheapest of the figures besides Rocket, since he's a just plastic and doesn't have any mixed media (fabric, die-cast parts, etc).

I can't wait to see the Star-lord Hot Toy. It is the one I might actually get. He is up there with the TWS Cap and the Mark VII in terms of design.

I would've preferred a plush Rocket Raccoon that looked more like the character in the movie. This one has a bit of a flat face and a short body. He doesn't look quite recognisably enough like the character. Aren't there any other plush Rockets coming up?

That's Rocket's stunted brother, Crocket. He debuted in Marvel Team-Up, fighting alongside Starhawk, but was retconned into nonexistence when DnA revamped GOTG....until now.
