This doesnt surprise me. It really wouldnt surprise me to know they put it out the next morning, just to bs me.

Street date was June 21st-22nd thats why. Wal-Mart now stocks all the GotG stuff so I managed to pick up The Milano. I'd post a photo but I'm not done "assembling" it yet...so..many...decals..

Well neither the final nor prototype are right since it looks like the pants in the movie are a really dark blueish gray.

No Ronan or Nebula is a weird choice since effectively you've got a line up of all heroes with no villains. I'd imagine they saved them for a wave 2 but it still seems odd to sacrifice 2 figure spots for "Comic" figures that have no involvement with the film.

They don't. The ASM2 line had Superior Spidey, Black Cat, Carnage & Boomerang; while the Cap line had Skull, Zemo, HYDRA soldiers & AIM soldiers. Hasbro is now using the movie lines to sneak in fan requested figures & add more popular characters to the shelves like the Iron Man.

Has anyone seen the Star-lord masks from Diamond Comics in stores? I know they shipped last week so some stores must have them, I know they are exclusive. One of my local comic shops has one on pre-order for me. I hope it's half decent for some modding.

That's why I always preorder the complete series online.

I have seen some of the two packs in the Atlanta area - boy are they tiny. Also had the 12" Star Lord.

I've checked several Wal-Marts in the area and only one has put out any Guardians merchandise so far. All they had was one set of Marvel Legends so I picked up Nova, Rocket and Gamora for now. Target and Toys R Us have the merchandise but the Legends are a little scarce in those places.
