I'll be sad to see Drax go if it happens, but I also understand not everyone wants to play the same character all the time.

 

I also think Drax dying would still hit the audience hard. Despite him not having any great powerful moments, he connects a lot with fans. He is very funny and the heart of the team.
Rocket would hit the hardest for me though so I hope we get to keep him for future movies. Rocket seems to have a big part in all of the MCU too. We saw he had a voice in Engame council and Shang Chi end credit he was part of that I think. He is the most involved with other characters so he should be safe.

 

Rocket is my number one. I don't know if I would keep watching without him.

It doesn't sound eXclusive to animé.

 

It is releasing in China, according to the weibo blog. Interestingly, a lot of comments have to do with wanting 2D and didn’t like 3D of Wanda Forever and Quantumania. I wonder if the MCU 3D strategy actually backfired in China.

 

Not everybody likes 3D. Gives my daughter horrible headaches,

 

For me, it varried.

Iirc I got a headache during an animated film. I watched Hp5 to 8, Resident Evil 5 in 3D and never got a headache.

Oh please, be really good! I'm having such a hard time with these movies.
I need this to be a really good one.

 

Gunn and this version of the Guardians farewell so I have high hopes it will be a nice send off. Going to be its own and won't set up too much of the bigger part of MCU though.

 

They almost have to if they want people to know about it. People are going to see Guardians whether they follow all of the MCU or not. They are that kind of group that attract non Marvel fans.

Captain Marvel was released between Avengers to give some hype. This sequel has nothing behind it that can tie to it. We haven't seen Photon since Wandavision 3 years ago, I assume Khan is in it I didn't finish Ms.Marvel not sure if that was a major hit, Danvers was okay in first movie and has had limited time in appearances after. Great fight with Thanos but personality wise nothing memorable.

This is the GOTG last hurrah so I am not expecting them to sell other projects too much in this during the movie so a teaser or trailer of Marvels is all they can do.

has anyone else heard anything about Stakar and the rest of the OG Ravagers make an appearance? or what their involvement would be?

was listening a Michael Rosenbaum(s) aka Martinex {inside of you} podcast, and he kept mentioning the GotG 3 premiere as one of his "up coming events"... suggesting he might be in it...

 

Disney still has The Little Mermaid and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny to debut the teaser trailer if its not included in this Marvel movie.

 

Tickets are on sale, but I'll wait closer to release. Think I'll watch this one in Dolby...I need the best sound quality possible for Vol 3, it's undoubtedly gonna be a musical feast. Gonna be a lot happening for Cinco De Mayo weekend, I'm looking forward to Friday night with the Guardians!

 

the last MCU movies had great posters and were mediocre. This has mediocre posters…and doing the math…
