I've really never meet many people that openly say this but I actually like Lobo so despite the fact that one of my dreams is actually coming true I'm also incredibly Disappointed with the PG13 rating. PG13 & the character just Don't go together; If you know the character you know that there is just no other way around it. Period. To put it into perspective, imagine if The Punisher had been PG13. I'm so disappointed that i don't even want to comment on it anymore....

He curses but with made up words like Frag and Bastich. They are aliens so as long as the blood isnt red, the MPAA will pass it.

Obviously an R-rating would be ideal, but it certainly not as bad for Lobo as it is for similiar characters

They gave Wolverine a PG-13, even though that may not be the best example. In the Marvel-verse he's like an R rated guy in a PG-13 world, where most of his associates don't even want to know the **** that goes on with him. Lobo is somewhat of an R-rated guy in the DC-universe's PG-13 world. The JLA have dealt with him in the past, and view him as the lowest common denominator, and only reluctantly work with him if they help it.

Well i do wish best of luck with hex, losers, lobo/deadman(if they get to camera's rolling phase). Yes i really would like to see a flash, aquaman, wonder woman first. But they have their reasons i guess to go with the lesser/fringe characters right now.

The Dark Knight is PG-13 and that's not exactly kid-friendly.

I know some just think you cant do anything good with pg 13 rating, yes it would be nice if they gave lobo a full R rating so we can have more learway in some things. But with pg 13 if they can go hard pg 13 they can still get away with things. And stuff like blood/swearing can be done in the film still and get around censors. Plus even if they did make the film pg 13, whos to say the director might have/will shot some R rated stuff to be included on a later released dvd/bluray edition.

I think Terry78 has got it down: Lobo, like Deadpool or Wolverine, are Rated R characters stuck in PG 13 worlds, even in the comics.

There were some violent Batman comics but not to the point where I would suggest a Rated R Batman movie, you know.

I understand that LOBO is suppose to be this ultra violent character, but I hope that they keep the spirit of the character in the film.

I agree about the PG-13 rating. It can be very vulgar and bloody, in Lobo's own unique way. It's not like Punisher where he goes around blowing Human faces off and people screaming "**** MY **** WITH ****ING ASS **** BALL SUCKING CAT ****ER WITH ANUS ***** AND NIPPLES" every other panel. It'll be corny, sure, but so is the comic. I think they can work it out just fine. To me the character (and movie at this point) is just intended for fun, and that's all it should be.

I actually think Adam Baldwin would play an awesome Lobo as well, he was kind of like Lobo as Jayne in Firefly from what little I know of the character.
