Just wondering who would you rather have as Peter's main love interest in the next film Gwen or MJ? and why?

what are you kidding ? Even before the symbiote took over, they did the upside down kiss at the parade lol If thats not attraction and a complete slap to the face to mj then I dont know what is. Gwen stacy was peter parkers first true love in the comics and spidey def had a web on for gwen. Did you happen to notice his facial expressions during the resturant scene ?

I don't think he kissed her at the parade because of attraction. He was just caught up in the moment with the crowd cheering "Kiss her" and he has an affinity for everyone loving him so much that he just wanted to please his fans. I dont think he was even thinking at this point that it might be a slap in the face to peter. And he only took her to the jazz club just to piss off mj. He only has feelings for mj and gwen was just his way to get back at her. I dont think he had any real interest to date her.

It's doubtful that we'll see anymore of Gwen, at least as long as Sam is directing. Gwen was as much forced on him as was Venom. Originally the character was written to be someone else, and Laura Ziskin "suggested" that she be written to be Gwen Stacy.

The irony is that she did turn out to be a far more likeable character than MJ.

Black Cat is one of the worst characters in Spider-Man history. If she wasn't a hot chick in black patent-leather then she'd have no value at all.

My pick is Gwen Stacy, who was robbed of her role in the Spidey universe by the ever annoying (in the comics and movies) Mary Jane freakin' Watson!

I really like Gwen, but Peter's love interest should remain with Mary Jane. It's very clear they love one another. And at the conclusion of Spider-Man 3, I felt that their scene reuniting at the club really evoked the feeling of not only a need for one another, but also the fact that both characters have gone thru so much together, and have finally come to terms with one another.

It would be really strange for Raimi to build up MJ as Peter's one true love for three movies only to have Peter ditch her permanently for Gwen.

Movie (GweMJ) and Whoever the hell that was masquerading as the character called "Gwen", I would prefer by default ONLY.. GweMJ.. errr.. MJ.

But the answer SHOULD BE.. if the characters were done right.. BOTH.

I think he did. just think about it, he could have asked anybody else including betty. y would he ask somebody to go out with him that he wasnt attracted to at all if he could've just asked somebody else.

I know, be he also knows that betty really likes him. and that it wouldnt make her any less mad if she saw him with her rather than gwen. if anything she would be even more mad because she knows peter and betty work together and she looks better than gwen.
