From Microsoft: ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ smashes record with biggest Halo launch in history

REDMOND, Wash. — Nov. 4, 2015 — One week after launching worldwide, “Halo 5: Guardians” has made history as the biggest Halo launch and fastest-selling Xbox One exclusive game to date, with more than $400 million in global sales of “Halo 5: Guardians” games and hardware, pushing the franchise to over $5 billion lifetime.

Alright, so having played the game for a while, I need to ask. Am I the only one who thinks aiming in this game just feels really off? I don't know what it is, but I'm not having as nearly a smooth experience running and gunning, as I did in previous entries in the series. Especially after playing Destiny, Halo 5 simply doesn't feel as good.

They have an aim accelerator in this game, with 2-3 deadzones. There's a bunch of people who are pissed that they did this, cause it wasn't in the beta.

Then that needs to go. If previous games didn't need that, then there's no place for it in Halo 5.

How does an aim accelerator work? Never heard of that before.

It means that the longer you push in one direction, the faster it gets over time, instead of always having a constant speed. So basically, if you aim to the left, it will start off slow, and then it accelerate the longer you hold it down.

I think HR had this too, but it wasn't nearly as extreme as it is in H5.

What exactly would be the point of such a feature?

Sounds terrible!

Are the armor options in MP tied to your rank? Is that how u unlock em?

Yup. 10,000 to get the gold packs... Which I have been getting purple legendary armor and helmets left and right.. But it's Incredibly easy to get that much. I sell ****** packs and basically play decent games and you have it in no time.

Played a bit more of the campaign. Not bad so far and a lot better looking than past Halos.

Ah ok and are the Req packs unlocked through playing like the Battlefield battle packs are?
If you play Warzone, you'll be able to get 10k points in about 4-5 games. If you play regular MP, it'll take you a LOT longer.

So you don't any kind of special armor for beating the campaign or at least beating it on Legendary? I guess they want to sell those REQs.

You don't get anything outside of achievements for the campaign. Which was something I was shocked by.

Do you normally get stuff for beating the campaign?

If someone buys them they're dumb. You can get enough for the best unlock after 3 MP games.

Not if you win or have a good game. I get enough for the best set in about 3 games.

In Warzone you have a chance, but there's no way you're getting 10k in regular Arena within 3 games. Even going and watching pros on YouTube, they average about 850-1000 per game.

Can I complete this campaign in a (totally free) day on easy difficulty?

I guess I'm above pro. You sell your ****** req packs that you get for breathing.. and you'll have enough in no time. The armor isn't even needed. It's all cosmetic. It literally adds nothing to you other than looks.
