The Dark Knight Rises Harley Quinn Manips

Here's my Brittany Murphy manip:

I was also referring to the personality as well as her look. Both things wouldn't fit the tone of the series. They would have to be changed.

I think her costume actually might work in the series if the took away that awful cap. I agree that her personality would have to change if she was to fit into the series. But if they made her as a psychotic as the Joker, then the would lose the sympathy factor which - for me at least - is one of Harley's most intriguing points.

Then we alter her origin to fit it. I agree with the psychiatrist bit 100%, depending on how film 2 goes what if instead she's a young naive nurse just starting at Arkham? She helps treat Joker, for some unknown reason she becomes infatuated and obsessed with him, sees him as the ultimate bad boy, helps him escape, helps him with some criminal activity, she gets a real thrill for it, she becomes Harley Quinn. What ever it is, Harley and/or her history would change.

That would work, but it's still a major plot hole. Why would a newbie nurse be given access to a monster like Joker? Don't get me wrong, I was annoyed with that idea in DCU as well. Imo, if Nolan wants to keep this picture as tight as possible then he'll avoid plot holes like this.

I for one couldn't really care about the kids and hope it is darker than film one. If the kids want Batman, there's a cartoon on TV or there's Batman 89, let em watch that, this film series isn't targeted to the kids and I for one am glad. And I don't think WB have to worry about merchandise, stick a Batman logo on anything and kids will pester their parents for days until they buy it. :woot:

I don't really care if kids can see it either. You'll have to call me cynical, but I believe that there is no way in hell that this film won't be marketed to kids in one way or another - sure, BB wasn't aimed at a family audience, but it wasn't unacessible to them either. Warner Bros are not going to hand Nolan a blank cheque and tell him to do what he wants. I don't believe that they are going to alienate any potenial revenue they could make so that a good film could be made. That's not how Hollywood works anymore.

I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree on pretty much everything:yay: . Personally, I'd love her to be in this franchise, she's one of my favourite characters. But I don't think she'll be making an appearance, for the reasons I've mentioned, unless it's a mention or a two second cameo.

There's a part of me that's okay with that, though. Don't get me wrong I've loved pretty much all of Nolan's films, but there's one thing I've noticed about him. He - thus far - has not been able to produce a female character that has not either been a plot point, or has made me give a damn. I don't want that to happen to Harl, or any of the other females in Batman.

As I said before... CHRISTINA RICCI!!!!!!!!

Eileen Page (I think that's her name), the girl from Hard Candy (she was also Kittie Pride) could be interesting.

Harley should be played by Philip Seymour Hofman, that would be truly creepy.

Yeah I meant a real manip with the colors and so on !

anna faris! i dont necessarily think she would be good for the part, i just wanted to do a manip.

She looks like Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner.

Which, as a lot of people have said in the past, is what you can bet Harley would look like if Nolan ever decided to use her, as he's a huge Blade Runner fan (evident from stuff like the Grappling Gun and the look of the Narrows). And the casting of Rutger, of course.
