Saw it last night. Amazing. I feel empty now though. I didn't cry but I shook more and more as the movie came closer to ending. I've never done that before. I was shaking most of the time! Why must it be over! :(

The Snape memory was my favorite bit. As it was in the book as well. I felt some details were left out of the movie overall though. Wouldn't it of been nice to have seen Neville and Luna and others 19 years later instead of just the trio, Ginny and Draco? I remember the book had alot of bits on the fellow classmates.

They mentioned Neville was the Herbology professor, but he wasn't on the platform. And the Neville/Luna hookup was new for the movie (and I kinda liked that).

I think the epilogue was meant to focus on Harry and Albus the most...he went through the barrier with him, when the first time around, Harry had gone through alone. I thought the exchange between the two of them was beautiful (the line about his middle name had me in tears when I read the book).

I also thought Daniel Radcliffe made a surprisingly believable 37-year-old at the end too.

Oh yeah, its been over a year since I last read the book. The ending was beautiful, I loved it. The music made me so nostaligc of seeing the first film in theaters as a kid. But I think it would of been neat for the film series to do something different from the book and show where alot of the other characters were up to 19 years later then go to that beatifully amazing ending. The Neville/Luna thing was pretty neat. And surprised me!

I think they could of made Daniel a little taller though. :hehe:

And no one bothers to see the article I posted. Do ANY of you who I was referring to? Our sworn enemy has returned, but this time, he's crossed the ****ing line by calling Harry Potter "the dullest franchise in history". I have but THREE WORDS to respond to that:

BULL. F-ING. ****.

The man has no shame. He must be stopped.

I read the article. Then got so disgusted I just stopped reading. :cmad:

We've all come to accept him as a troll at this point. Even if he said the world would literally be a better place if Potter never existed, it wouldn't surprise me. No one should really bother clicking the link to the article so you don't give him more hits. Don't give him the satisfaction of raging about it. Its no big deal.

Hello? Three days ago just called. We already heard about that nitwit's review.

Our energies are better spent at this point discussing the movie and not the attention-loving idiocy that is Armand White.

I'm not trying to give him hits. I just stumbled across that and felt it must be shown so that SOMEONE can incite an angry mob to go get his arse!

Wait, you guys were ALREADY aware of this?

Yes, I said his review was pointless rant a few days ago when it first went up. But I didn't post the article cause it had a spoiler. Anybody getting angry over him just means that he's succeeding, getting you to care what he says. Don't give him the satisfaction.

Its the same as some random guy on the internet posting the same article but we wouldn't really care.

In the review he attacks both LOTR and Potter franchises, so double the attention hes gonna get from people.

Just searched the thread. Can't find your post...:csad:

LOL, he is tiny. They even put a short joke into a song in the Broadway show he's doing right now, it's hilarious.

It would have been nice to see, but I'm glad they kept it between Harry and his son. He gave him what he didn't have the first time around.

I liked seeing Malfoy too. He looked happy. Looked like maybe he'd made some changes in the way he saw the world. (that was actually Tom Felton's girlfriend playing his wife)

I thought the Neville/Luna thing was great. It totally worked.

Ending the damn thing with Hedwig's Theme just added to the emotional devastation, but I loved it. It was just beautiful.

I remember after the book came out, people griped about the epilogue being what it was, but I always liked it. You didn't learn exactly what happened to everyone...but it just showed that the last 19 years were full of weddings, and children, and birthday parties, and just good things after all of the sadness they'd all lived through. It was all Harry ever wanted, and it was what they all deserved.

Wait, you guys were ALREADY aware of this?

It came out days ago. It's buried on the previous thread, which has since been shut down by the dreaded Thread Manager.

Considering it currently stands at RT with 216 fresh reviews and only 6 rotten ones, it matters little what Armond White has to say in the matter.

Agreed. But he still must be destroyed.

Dude chill, it's just one guys opinion. My brother absolutely hates Harry Potter, so little chance he's going to see this one. The vast majority of critics liked the moive, and I wouldn't be suprised if it gets a nomination for best picture at the oscars.

When I saw his comment on rotten tomatoes, I gave him a sarcastic applause and then moved on with my life. his act is getting too boring and predictable to waste any time on.

Justifiable hate? Did he get a taste of it and say not my thing. Or does he just think it looks childishly stupid?

Here's an example, btw, of how he shall BE destroyed. And, btw, this isn't a Rick Roll, I swear. Imagine Saruman in the vid in the place of Armond:

Get over it. No one cares about Armond White anymore to spend time talking about him.

Btw, slightly OT, in all seriousness, BEST VIDEO EVAH!!

Nearly everything you're posting right now is OT, can we get back to the movie and not obsess on that review?

Ok we get it . he sucks Harry potter doesn't. Let's get back to hp

I wasn't obsessing about the article just now. I was just promoting that vid.

Right, then. Let's proceed with the film talk. I'm seeing it in IMAX 3D tomorrow. Wish me luck!

This is sweet...Tom Felton, Rupert Grint, and Matthew Lewis saw Dan on Broadway last weekend when they were here for the NY premiere:
