i can definitely see Cusack as Dent.

but Cusack as Two Face?..... hmmm, not quite.

although Cusack is a pretty good actor, but he's never had a role where he went out on a limb before, the closest would be Being John Malkovich, and that role is nowhere near the demands of what the Two Face character needs.

in any case i'll keep an open mind. besides from the sound of the rumour it seems like Cusack is just expressing his interest in the role, just like so many actors that's been mentioned in the boards.

I'm pleased to hear Cusack's name rumoured he is one of my favourite actors to watch. I don't really have a problem with any of the names that have been mentioned for the Harvey Dent roll so far. I think i still prefer Schrieber but doubt i'll be dissapointed with whoever is cast.

you honestly think Cusack is a bad actor based on the Ice Harvest?

Grosse Point Blank is one of the best off beat comedies out there, watch that, there is nothing in that movie that says Harvey Dent, but it still pimps cusack as a good actor, and so do many of his movies, Con Air when squares off with Malkovich are some of the best parts of that movie

say anything? high fidelity? good movies, good acting by cusack, again, nothing here screams Dent but he is still a good actor, and would be a good Harvey Dent

as for those who don't know about him as two-face, what has the other candidates of Lucas or Schrieber done to make you think that they can do Two-Face as well? cause i've seen nothing from ether of those two

Well, this is true, but the movie was so go-awful, that this isn't really the best compliment ever.

I really do like him as an actor, and while I'm not sure he could pull off the Two-Face "edge", if he was cast, I would still have faith that he could. I think I'm going to go watch Being John Malkovich now...

Agreed - Cusack is too whiny and sad-sack to be the masculine, confident shark Harvey Dent. No no no.

Liev could pull it off, but my choice remains Patrick Dempsey. Observe:

Dude's as sexy as hell, he can do a convincing "crazy" scene, he's sexy as hell, he has the chops to do the ol' Harvey Dent rage, and did I mention he's as sexy as hell?

that's Cusack's main problem: he's kinda stereotyped with the angsty/ romantic comedies/ drama films which has given him success but also limits his range. he is a very good actor, hopefully he can score a screentest and see if he really ha the mettle to play Harvey Dent's evil half.

as much as I like Cusak as an actor and would like him to play dent.....I would have to agree here...

I think Lucas might be one of the better options....even better than Phoenix...who could be the 2nd best option...

and people still mention Jackman...but I think he's one of the many "locks"...not to play Dent...

Cusack has been one of my top choices for awhile now, and I would be ecstatic if he gets it. He has the right look, he's the right age in relation to Bruce (he's turning 40), and he's a briliant actor. I'd still prefer Liev, but I would not mind in the least if Cusack snatched it up. He's certainly a better choice than Lucas.

Someone should manip this pic. It screams Dent IMO, right down to the slicked back hair and intense eyes.
