Harvey Dent/Two-Face Thread

I know many women find him handsome, but that kinda strikes me as more of a fetish thing based on his overall presence and the way he carries himself and his status what not. A lot of women also find him hideous, and even one girl I know that is into him says he's "ugly but hot".

Harvey should be a bit more conventional, I think, unless they won't even factor the vain aspect at all which is fair enough.

I’ve been loving the idea of Driver as Joker lately.
I can’t see him as Dent.

Jesus.

Dent doesn't even need to be handsome by anyone's definition. He should look like an everyday man, like Gordon, but with insane charisma and dedication that attracts people to his political crusades.

Eh, not really. Some comics that dive a bit deeper into him imply he's very vain and handsome and that's part of the reason getting disfigured was his breaking point. However if they don't factor that in, Driver is okay.

That's unnecessary IMO. More important Two-Face character traits such as his childhood trauma and repressed bipolar disorder have yet to be fully explored in film, and I'd like Reeves to tackle them first.

Would Driver even accept Scarecrow though? Two-Face has more meat than Scarecrow, even if both are A-list villains.

Bottom line, for me, Driver would be great for either role. I've wanted him in this film for a while now

Andrew Scott was my pick for Penguin, but he could fit as Dent too.

Someone said Toby Kebbel; he’d be a safe pick as well.

I'd be fine with Driver as Dent, though it feels a little myopic. Up until now, Driver's most famous role is as a guy whose good and bad sides are constantly at war with one another. Obviously Kylo Ren is a very different role than Dent but you can see the similarities as well (and they both even have facial skars)! He's good enough of an actor that I'm sure he could vary the performances but I think I'd rather see him as another villain, like the Joker or someone underrated like Calendar Man (seriously, if this film is based in any way on The Long Halloween, then give me creepy Hannibal Lector Calendar Man).

On that note, Driver NEEDS to play Alberto Falcone. I mean, holy ****.

Just cast Sheeran as a Gotham City stop sign and be done with it.

You’ve said some wild **** in your day, but this takes the cake. Jesus.

Vincent Cassel here in France is a sex symbol, and he has an unusual face, not as unusual as Driver, but still. And i understand why they are see as sex symbols. Those guys just are confortable in their own skin, they have confidence, they have charisma and have that weird sensuality.

Not every sex symbol look like Brad Pitt.

Anyways, it's really possible that Reeves goes with an unusual type. He wanted to go with Jeremy Strong, as far as rumors goes ( Justin Kroll said it first )

I guess they’re really looking for someone who can emulate 70s Pacino, if there’s any truth to the Oscar Isaac and Jeremy Strong rumors.
it's interesting, now that you say it . It give credence to a 70 setting...

I mean, that's quite literally how several girls that like him have described him to me.

Regardless I do think he'd be a great Dent and I'd be thrilled if he got cast if they wanna skip over the whole vain aspect. However, doesn't he have that Ridley Scott knight project at around the same tome this movie is shooting?

Leading actor looked more like everyday man. Now days it's more rare
