Harvey Dent/Two-Face Thread

Only two choices for me:

Isn't Harvey meant to be a bit rough around the edges? He's a tough guy before the transformation.

Do we have any idea if this is just Harvey Dent, or Two-Face in this movie?

We dont. But it's interesting that Justin Kroll talked only about mister Dent.

I heard at one point it was just Harvey and Two Face would be set up for movie number Two. But that was around the same time as the Matthew M. Rumours so it might not be true

Jeff Sneider said he has no idea if he's Two Face or Harvey yet. And Sneider is pretty close to Kroll, so who knows.

IIRC we also heard at one point that it was loosely based on or at least taking influence from The Long Halloween, but I don't know if that was true or not.

I wonder how much of a role he'll have considering he still hasn't been cast. Not that that really matters.

They still have months before filming, don't they? Also Serkis and Farrell were just announced, so they're still filling out roles it seems.

It would be interesting if we can start off with Harvey in the hospital recovering from his burns. That way we can build mystery around what happened to him and have him in there descending further into madness and becoming Two Face. Then have him to break out at the end so that he can be more of a major player in the second film.

If This is Long Halloween based, they can keep the same idea of a killer (Riddler) and the Harvey Dent twist can still happen. Only question is do you have Harvey kill before he's scarred.

I’ve little interest in seeing Harvey scarred or becoming Two-Face. I want it to be a slow burn, there’s plenty to explore with the character before his turn. Ideally he would be the Anakin of this series.

To be honest I still don't know how you could execute Harvey's downfall after The Dark Knight.

I get that Nolan skipped over some aspects of the character, but still, the way he did it was so good I don't really want to see that arc again, I could change my mind though.

It's been awhile but didn't Nolan skip over the entirety of Harvey's abusive Childhood and repressed personality? That alone could give the character an entirely new Arc.

I don't know how much can Reeves delve into that if, according to him, the entire film is from Batman's PoV

Between the Wayne's death and Dent's dis-figuration, I'd rather see again the former. Two-Face is a compelling villain in his own right without fleshing his pre-villain phase. His history and development could be threaded in the story by pieces through dialogue and subplots.

Clarke is a good actor and I’m sure he’d be fine but I feel like no one would have even brought him up if he hadn’t worked with Reeves before.

Who said that? Somebody told, that people who say that they are sexy, do it for fallacious reason, i answered.

Continuing on you train of thought, we could say to that guy " fine, you and others think that they are not handsome, that doesn't mean that others cant find honestly that they are" so basically, we are in agreement.
You said something about Brad Pitt. I think I was mainly replying to that. But I'm talking about the perspectives of those who see it that way, not saying that they are those things. I don't think he's handsome.

I'd rather have fully formed gangster Two-Face. The whole Harvey downfall arc isn't that interesting to me.

Also, James Wolk!!!!
