I think this is probably the best arc that Renner has had in any MCU he's been a part of. I really felt for him after he lost his family and then having to see Natasha sacrifice herself. It may have been the aftereffects of Tony's death but I was legit tearing up when he reunited with his family.

Whether his daughter or a version of Kate Bishop, neither situation rules out the possible outcome of him having to deal with his time as Ronin with criminals gunning for him nor that he could adopt the Ronin ID again during the show's run.

Renner/Hawkeye was definitely one of the best aspects of the movie and the characters best arc in these movies easily. Renner sold everything he had To do in the movie, just wish he had more involvement in the final battle.

Recovered the Gauntlet the Avengers had made and kept it and the stones away from the bad guys and did most of this without use of his trick arrows until, seeing as he has no powers, he had to hand it off to Black Panther. I would say Clint earned his paycheck that day.

Clint played a big part in the action of the final battle.

He fought the Outriders below the Avengers facility after Thanos bombed it and kept the gauntlet safe. If it hadn't been for him, Tony wouldn't have gotten the stones. Naturally, when hundreds (thousands?) of combatants showed up on the battlefield the action focused on many others besides Hawkeye. But that didn't make his contribution any less important.

You're completely right, I was just thinking sequel and didn't even consider Ronin being used at all. I never considered that he could become Ronin again either.

Renner is the face and voice of this year's Summer of Jeep promotion, which features him performing songs he co-wrote. Hopefully, he'll release more music as time goes on.

Yeah this is the best we’ve seen of Renner in the MCU. I’m glad they finally gave him something.
