:lmao:

****ing brilliant.

What I like is the not-so-subtle way the guy in the background quickly ducks out of the room at the confirmation of only girls after he nearly ended up being one of the Prince's sexual escapades. :funny:

You know, a while back I would have said the Purple Wedding was my most anticipated moment of Season 4, and while that may be true, now that it's done I can't wait for this huge finale they say they've cooked up.

Yeah, when i read the books i just knew Peter Dinklage and Nicolaj Coster-Walder-Frey we're in for some Emmy award nomination worthy scenes.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about Nikolaj and Michelle Fairley too for last season, but they got snubbed in favor of Emilia Clarke, who while still great, didn't put in half as great a performance for Daenerys as the others did for Jaime and Catelyn.

Idk when Emilia starts spitting Valyrian I get chills. Girl has an amazing tongue...

Her performance in the "Dracarys" scene was the best that the show has seen so far from her. But I still wouldn't rank it above Nikolaj's scene in the bath with Brienne or Michelle Fairley's performance during the Red Wedding.

Speaking of Oh My...

I don't doubt it. I lost faith in GRRM a while ago on these matters. What I find more sad is it feels like the show will probably have a stronger ending then the books.

I've read the series twice. I have no idea where it's going.

Poor thing got the wrong angle for his last sight. If it's any consolation. My view is just fine.

Watched it again to catch some of those little nuances that I didn't see the first time (that many have talked about) such as
Olenna as she plays with Sansa's hair and necklace
Tywin shielding Tommen in the background.

And one thing I also noticed was, when Little!Joffrey and Little!Rob are 'jousting' there's a moment where Tyrion gently places his hand on Sansa's (I think it's before Little!Joffrey takes off Little!Rob's wolf head). He did it in the previous episode as well (when trying to encourage her to eat) but she pulled away from him then. This time she doesn't (though likely because she's so frozen by the mockery of her brother's death before her). It just reminded me of one of the reasons that I always liked Tyrion, even back in the 1st season he was always incredibly kind to Sansa (not because he *had* to, but because it was right to) and doing what he could to try and protect her from Joffrey's insanity.

Anywho... just wanted to ramble a bit.

D&D have said from here on out they will not be condensing or splitting any book into a particular season. The days of adapting a particular book for a single season is over. They are taking from the whole of the rest of the story and making that into seasons 4-8. So in fact, no, they arent condensing books 4&5 into season 5. They are condensing books 3-7 into seasons 4-8. Thats their strategy from here on out. And these arent speculations, but words from their mouths. Its in interviews theyve done for the past 2 years. The show will end in June 2018. They planned the whole thing to be 80 hours from the beginning and have discussed the ending with GRRM, and have also said they will not wait for him to finish the books. D&D also have their follow up project already contracted. And HBO never intended to drag this out to accomodate Martin's ridiculous sloth pace. The train is moving and not lettin up.

Do you have any actual quotes where they say this? People talk about it all the time but nobody ever gives any evidence.

Dont take this the wrong way, but there are two years worth of interviews and the most recent is a Vanity Faire or a Variety interview where they confirm they have discussed the ending with GRRM. Just google D&D and read what theyve said over the past two years. This conversation has repeated itself ad nauseam and Im sick of it. Not that Im mad at you tho. Your curious about it and thats fine. Im just tired of this particular conversation. Discussing it I can still do, but searching out quotes and interviews has become tedious for me.

The show ends in 2018 or 2019 and its been planned as 80 hours from the beginning and for numerous reasons they arent and can not wait on GRRM to finish the books. D&D have publicly stated that from here on out we should stop expecting a book to take up a season. They are no longer adapting a book at a time. They are taking whats left of the whole and telling it in the most effecient way possible and the show will end in season 8. Google D&D or you can try PMing Darth Skywalker. He may have some of their interviews saved. He is another member that has encountered this enquirey a lot. I dont save their interviews. If i did id be happy to provide you with links. You dont have to take my word for it tho. Just when you get some time break out the google-fu.:) I really am sorry I cant be of more help with sources and quotes.
