I actually thought he died when Peter came up behind him while he was being arrested. I thought Peter stabbed him in the back literally. Then I got to another one of his chapters and was happy. Little did I know that Martin was going to kill him a few chapters latter.

Haha oh man that would have been driving you nuts for those chapters.

I like the way they handle his death in the book, it comes so suddenly, especially after the nightmare chapter as I call it with Dany and what she is experiencing with Khal and the maige. Intense stuff.

Interestingly enough, one of her songs is about Alfie.

haha, yeah. She made a song about him staying in all day smoking weed or something similar to that and he went and got a part on Game of Thrones as retribution.

There was a scene in season 2 where Theon and Yara depart for the last time where she describes him as baby, I was re-reading ADWD, specifically the Reek chapters, at the time that was airing, and it honestly was difficult to watch given how much it drove home how much of a tragedy Theon's life. Alfie is seriously underrated on this show, I'd even say he's as good as Dinklage or Nikolaj.

Not sure if I already mentioned this but there were just 3 characters that I had thought to be not totally awesome the 1st time I watched GoT (up to the end of season 3). Walder Frey who went straight into the awesome bracket when I rewatched and paid closer attention to him. Lysa Arryn who is looking very interesting this season and one of my criticisms is no longer valid now that she was in on it the whole time. And Ramsay Snow who is also looking very interesting now that he's spending some time outside of a torture chamber. Never seen anything with such a huge cast with so few crap characters.

My favorite moment from S2 was when he was thrown in the dungeon. I enjoyed that more than all of the times Tyrion slapped Joffrey.

I also loved Tyrion staring Cersei down as he told her he wished he had been the one to kill Joffrey. Of course, she'd never believe that he didn't do it, but it's nice to really rub in how gleeful he was that her precious boy was dead.

I actually prefer her with her natural hair color. Don't really like her as a blonde, but I do enjoy her portrayal of Dany.

I'm in the same boat as DrDoom, for some reason she becomes really atractive with the blonde/ white hair.
