HBO's Game of Thrones - Part 15

Are you just straight out spoilering things, or merely speculating because just picking those 3 specific characters is pretty bull...

They're the three main characters of the narrative. That's not at all a spoiler, look at the marketing, look at the creators comments, look at their fanbase, hell even screentime. Dany, Jon and Tyrion are the leads.

Plot armor is a metaphor. It does not mean she is never in a situation where her life is at risk. It just means that she's guaranteed to survive it (at least until ADOS) one way or another. You can't say the same for any other character.

I don't see her survival to the end as guaranteed. Dany can be killed before ADOS just like anyone else if that's what George needs to do to tell the story.

Margarie did what she had to and while there was some sincerity, don't read too much in what she told Tommen such as "I'm yours forever." She's actually smarter and more manipulative than her granny as the granny snared her husband with her body, while Margarie snared hers with her words.

That, in reality, could well be how it is forever with Margarie rarely having to use her body with Tommen unless it's necessary i.e. covering up a pregnancy through an affair, of which I'm sure she'll have many. Whereas Tommen will stay loyal to his wife, he's the opposite of his "father" Robert basically.

He's a nice kid who'll grow up to be a man easily manipulated by all around him. It's sad in a lot of ways, but I suppose being in any way soft and naive around here means you get what you deserve. :whatever:

Poor Tommem. :( But Margaery's so hypnotic. The way she does stuff. Even Olenna claimed that Margaery was better.

So who here was hoping
Coldhands
would finally show up when Rast was teasing Ghost and that puddle started freezing, with the murder of crows in the background as well?

I still hope he appears

next Sunday and saves the day for Bran. Providing a way for Bran and Jon not to meet and for all the fans to kill themselves because of the failed reunion

Me, I wasn't expecting this King. :)

Yeah, me too. There was also that murder of crows when Sam killed that White Walker last season, so I definitely hope they're not cutting the character out.

If [blackout]Coldhands[/blackout] ever appears, it will be next week. From the preview, it looks like Jojen tells Bran he needs to escape on his own, if the opportunity comes. We do see him crawling out in the snow. I think that he's going to manage to escape just before Jon and the rest of the Night's Watch come to kill the mutineers, thus preventing us from seeing a brief reunion between any Stark children. I'm going to guess that, as Bran is crawling, he'll look back when he hears fighting. Then he hears foot steps in front of him, quickly turns around, and see that it's [blackout]Coldhands[/blackout]. It'll cut back to Crasters. After the fight, Jon frees Jojen, Meera, and Hodor and helps them free Summer and Ghost. Jon goes back to Castle Black, the rest go looking for Bran and find him riding an elk.

So is it pretty much assumed that
Lady Stoneheart has been cut from the show? It doesn't seem like it would make sense now unless they don't explain how she comes to be

No. It's assumed she'll show up in the finale. LSH didn't appear until the end of ASOS.

I'm very much expecting her appearance unless Pod and Brienne's story deviates from the source material significantly. I think it's fine to go with the big reveal when the brotherhood captures them as showing how LS came to beforehand would be a bit anti-climatic. The audience should share the shock with Brienne.

Also, I think Bran's speech in last season's finale about the breaking of guest right and the vengeance it provokes was a pretty heavy indicator that LS would be used, or at the very least, that the Freys will get theirs.

Agreed. I'm assuming that it'll be the very last scene of the season, and then a cut to black.

Ok that makes since, maybe next season their will be a flashback that shows what happened. That is going to be a great thing

All I know is that they'll spare no expense in making her gruesome as possible. ****'s gonna give me nightmares.

I just wanted to post something in spoiler tags too while everyone else was doing it.

:woot:

To break the pattern and also do some speculation, I'm expecting the Rains Of Castamere to play at least once more this season, either when
Tywin goes the way of the Reynes and proves he doesn't **** gold,

Or when a certain character takes off their hood so a certain line

"...Only a Cat of a different coat..."

Gets bonus points for dual meanings and signals yet more dead people.

(Seriously, though, if you're at a wedding and someone starts playing that song, RUN THE **** AWAY.)
