Y'know considering how integrally the "Rains of Castamere" song and saying "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts" are tied to Tywin's legacy as head of the family, I kind of hope that Tyrion adopts the actual Lannister motto as his own in a kind of defiance. "Hear Me Roar" can be pretty badass, especially for a "small man casting a big shadow." And (book spoiler)...

...considering we have that prophecy about multiple "Dragons" roaring at one another and Tyrion roaring between them, kind of operatic in it's drama. If we've got fAegon and Danaerys about ready to tear each other apart only for Tyrion "My bastard father murdered your family" Lannister to actually subdue their anger for a good cause, that would be the perfect time to drop the phrase.

that's actually pretty cool. Really an interesting approach about that prophecy.
In fact, i had forgotten entirely about that prophecy (was it made by Mokorro?)

Yeah I kind of wondered about that. That seems a rather odd motto for the family, given what we've seen.

Most of the house words work, but the "Hear Me Roar" seems rather meaningless for the family that regularly plots in dark rooms, assassinates and backstabs.

It makes sense when you think about how this family destroyed the Starks, Castameres and usually vanquishes any problem in its way. They are mighty and powerful, though they work in secret a lion doesn't roar til right before the strike and by then it's prey has been hunted in secret through the fields. When the Lannisters strike you know when its them and they are very much not shy in declaring their victory. Case in point Tywin rides into the throne room after he vanquishes Stannis's army and siege this is very much the leader of the Lannister pack Roaring over victory, though metaphorically.
