did someone say DC Direct was releasing 12 inch dark knight figs?? Is this confirmed??

Dude, the thing I'm really wondering about is if Hot Toys will make a 12 inch Joker.

I'd dish out $150 on that no problem. Well.. no problem SPENDING it, the getting $150 is another thing entirely :D

I think they said 6 figures? for the collector series?

We are getting:

BATMAN
JOKER
JOKER GOON WITH MASK

Now for the other 3:

GORDON
SCARECROW
HARVEY

(any suggestions?)

the maskless Batman is referred to as a 'chase figure' in the ToyFare scan put up ... so I dunno if that would count as the 4th figure or not??

I thought that was just the same as the Batman figure, but with removable head?

I was afraid of that. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Joker stuff never sees the light of day.

That would be tragic. I think they should release everything. We should celebrate the man and his work. It would be a disgrace for alot of the Joker merchandise to never c the light of day.

I did too but the article in the scan says it's a 'chase figure' and I know that the case assortment for the series is 4 per case.. so it'd make sense in a way :s

Why the hell don't they contract at least a couple of figures out to mcfarlane so we can get some ****ing awesome works of art as opposed to this crap.

Mattel has the exclusive rights for mass market figures. Mcfarlane is mass market so thats out of the question.

I know it is such a shame though. Mcfarlane toys should be the only company allowed to make action figures based off of cool films like this. I can only imagine how awesome and twisted their joker would be, or how badass their batman may have turned out. The sculpts that come out of that place never cease to amaze in detail, style, and articulation. They really are more more in the realm of true pieces of art than just generic toys, Such a shame.

I agree about not wanting Mcfarlane, NECA would have been great for comic store/mall store figures.

Can someone show me how to insert a link, but it shows up as a word, and you click the word to bring you to the link?

Like it would say BATMAN BEGINS FIGURE (and it would be underlined and blue and when you click that, it would bring you here>http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_061305a.htm)

Anyone know?

Here's hoping Kotobukiya makes some statues..they could do an awesome Batman vs Joker.

NO mcfarlane, they only make statues. i want articulation.

There new halo lineup was articulated to the extreme. Same with their mgs lineup. Just really depends on the line. Most of there spawn stuff is pretty stiff, but They have had some pretty movable and awesome stuff. Beside it isn't like I want to play with the thing anyways I just want something to liven up my room. Where you planning on playing with these. Tell the truth now.
