You say that, but to me and i would assume to the majority, it doesn't look distracting. Compare that to Shazam leaked shots? I can only assume they play up the muscles and have a 'humour moment' where Billy in costume is like - i want bigger muscles and they grow. I hope not, but it's the only way i can justify it.

Honestly if that's how the suit looked from the get go I wouldn't have minded but after seeing the MOS suit, this was a step down (colors were better though).
As for Shazam's suit, well I make it a habit of avoiding leaked photos and just wait for the official ones.

No doubt. I've been thinking about it, and I would like to see him in an else-world type film, completely severed from the DCEU.

Set it in the mid 1950's. Brainiac would be the villain.
It would seem a bit corny since it would be the 1950's, but that would be the beauty of it, it was a much more innocent time.

The film would embrace the boy scout image of Superman instead of trying to make him ultra serious. We would see shirt rips and smiles by Supes, with some ''shucks'' and ''aww gee's'' by clark while working in the DP. ( but not too much )

We would see plenty of birthright type scenes of clark on the farm.

Brainiac would be so advanced that he would give us in the modern times
fits.
Superman would have faced Lex numerous times by then, and the occasional thug that is trying to create havoc, but not any real super powerful villains ( OR heroes ) have yet appeared. He is it.

We need that, a real, feel good, solo superman film.

If you're doing an Elseworlds non-DCEU canon story than it pays to recast everyone, including Cavill. My preference is for the next film to be loosely connected to what has been established and move forward with Cavill.

They all deserve another movie. It was the WB fault not the actors. IMO the DCEU was perfectly cast.

I think I saw Henry Cavill today in Ft. Lauderdale. I went into a restaurant briefly and he seemed to be eating alone at his own table. I was about 20 feet away, but it looked so much like him, the face, the jaw, the hair, well built. I wanted to get a picture from a distance but didn't want to be obvious, so I let it be. So, if anyone is on social media and can confirm that Cavill was in Ft. Lauderdale, then it was legit.

If not, then there's another ridiculously good looking guy in South Florida that could also play Superman.

I was about 20 feet away, but it looked so much like him, the face, the jaw, the hair, well built. I wanted to get a picture from a distance but didn't want to be obvious, so I let it be. So, if anyone is on social media and can confirm that Cavill was in Ft. Lauderdale, then it was legit.

If not, then there's another ridiculously good looking guy in South Florida that could also play Superman.

He was even checking his phone like he was on social media or something. But I swear, it looked exactly like him, even the body type, the wavy hair, the clothing that he tends to wear in interviews (sort of preppy). I really want to know if it was him.

I'm not the type to go up to celebrities, especially if I'm alone. I don't like to bother people when they are going about their day. A few years ago I was in California and I saw Jensen Ackles with his wife and kids. Again, I wasn't directly in front of him so I couldn't 100% confirm it was him, but I know it was him. He had his child over his shoulders as he was walking with his wife at an outside mall. I wanted to be like, "Dean, what's up? Son of a *****."
