That was not necessary, Mike. Why do you have to get personal? If I have a thing for Routh, then you have a thing with Welling's body proportions.. please stop.
We're just fans
LOL, that's not personal in any way, just calling it how I see it. Your obsession with Routh is something known to pretty much every poster here and at the Superman section. If you saw it as an insult than you need to reevaluate how you come off when ever you post something because lady, you can sound so very very obsessed, to a point where it's just plain creepy. And your participation in this thread is not exactly one of positive intentions, that's why I responded.
Now, let me try to explain something to you in regard to your comment about Wellings proportions because you seem to have
tremendous difficulties comprehending this.
1. I am an artist. Yes Stargazer, that means that I
draw a lot.
Let's just take a moment to let that sink it. Repeating it a few times helps you understand the concept of it all.
Artists draw.
Artists draw.
Alright, now over to the next stage:
2. In order that I get the drawing right and as realistic as possible, which has always been my preferred style, I have to study the object I'm trying to draw to get as many details as I possibly can to make the drawing as authentic and accurate as my abilities within this field will allow me to do.
3. We've never seen Welling wearing the suit so it was a great challenge to draw him as superman. Which again, for the accuracy of it all, to study his physical proportions, then sketch the desired pose, add the suit, and making it look like there's spandex over it.
4. After years of drawing, one tends to develop an eye for details, very quickly recognising things that others fail to see. Not all body types are appropriate for Superman, people have shown time after time that they just don't understand this, hence the repetition that you tend to misunderstand.
Welling is a big guy, bigger than the average Joe, I always commented that the actor chosen for Superman should have similar physical proportions to seem as imposing as possible when wearing the suit.
Now, the process of drawing can be a very complicated one I don't really expect you to understand due to the ignorant comments you usually make about this, but you should have enough reason to refrain from making idiotic comments about things you have zero knowledge about.
Because I have about 50 drawings in the Welling manips thread to prove that what I say is true, and all you have are countless posts spamming every thread there is with comments about how you loved Rouths demeanor and presence in the movie as well as a link providing annoyed members with the latest developments in
everything concerning the guy. If he ever did a small time radio interview in a remote small town that no one ever heard about, you'd be come on here two hours later and provide people a link to that interview. Once again, not an insult, just the truth.
