No it wasn't. There was the same warped gravity affect on the ground that there was when he flew in the first episode of last season.

When Clark got back to SV with his powers and the nuke went off, I jumped up and starting screaming "he's going to catch the ****ing nuke!" At that point my wife looked at me, and I think she regretted ever knowing me...

Nope. Next episode. Hang in thar.

2. Did Clark fly?

He took off the same way he did in Crusade - the ground deflected and circular waves emanated outwards from Clark's feet. I'd say it was a massive jump - MUCH bigger than the one in Lucy or Insurgence - and it was initiated the way he would if he was taking off for flight. Did he actually fly? Mmm... I'd say no. But judging from that jump, it's not gonna be long. I'd put money on seeing him FLY again, THIS season.

yeah, that flying effect did happen, but it looked more like a jump, the was an arch, would've been straight up if it was flight

I'm thinking it was a super jump because of the way he grabbed the missile it was like he was trying to hold on. Superman would have flown along side and then grabbed it. Clark had to punch holes in the side to be able to hold on.

It doesn't really matter because it was still way cool!!

So he had a change of clothing all set aside and waiting for them in the caves? And he physically changed Clark's clothes?

I think we're missing something. At least *I'm* missing something. It's not a big deal - I'm just trying to understand WHY. Clark and Lionel could have easily "beamed" to the FOS as they were. There really was no need to change clothes - nor was there time. When Clark died, the missile was 30 seconds from launch. All that dialog at the FOS and Clark beaming (or running?) back to Kansas happened in 30 seconds?

Pat.. your disbelief suspenders are slipping.
It's the same theory on how there could even BE a Jor-El, or an FOS.. or any of the other fantastic stuff associated. I mean, he brought Clark back from the DEAD.. having clothes materialize, or whatever, doesn't seem such a stretch. Also, I think that all that happened from the time Clark "died" and came back was probably in a suspended time. More Kryptonian "magic".

I assumed that was just him trying to hold onto the rocket. Plus, he's new at the flying thing. He probably isn't as fast as a missile yet.
